It's easy to lose touch with church, especially if you're housebound Sometimes we only re-connect with families when the individual has died, which is sad. We are very happy to visit people at home - do reach out and invite us. We have a caring pastoral team - dbs checked of course - as well as our clergy.

One of the lovely things the PCC reported on at the meeting last Sunday was the generous legacy left by former parishioner Kenneth Bartram. It is being carefully invested, income from it is helping us support the setting up of a CAP - Christians Against Poverty UK debt centre for Hyndburn and in due course the PCC will use it towards a project in the life of our church.

Perhaps you would like to support your local parish church in your will? It can really make a difference. And if you haven't yet made a will see the photo for a company offering a free of charge will-writing service for church members.
