What a beautiful Sunday together at One Church ❤️
This morning's worship was deeply moving and full of genuine heart. As we reached out to God together, there was a real sense of His presence among us. It wasn't about getting everything right or even creating a moment, but simply people coming before Jesus with honesty, hunger and open hearts.
We're so thankful for a worship team that serves faithfully, leads with humility, and helps create space for people to encounter God. What a privilege it is to gather as church family and seek Him together.
Meanwhile, Children's Church was exploring the story of Jacob & Esau (the twins!) and having plenty of fun along the way. A new worship song went down well, and the wig disguise game was an absolute hit. We're still not entirely sure who enjoyed it more... Valda or the children! 😄
It was also powerful to spend time praying for those who couldn't be with us today through illness or other circumstances. Please know you were remembered, loved, and lifted before God.
Today's message continued our Hidden Gems series, exploring the Parable of the Talents and asking a challenging question:
"What have you buried?"
Not because you've stopped believing, but because fear, disappointment, comfort, or life's challenges slowly convinced you to hide it.
If you missed it, the message is now available here:

And finally, ladies, don't forget that we're exploring the possibility of a Women's Retreat this October. If you'd like to know more or simply register your interest, have a chat with B (Bernadette Groves-Wright).
Also, we're excited that next Sunday our very own Pamela Wharton will be bringing the message. Make sure you don't miss it!
Have a fantastic week everyone ❤️
