I am doing what I can to protect God's beautiful Earth. I started this business as I felt there was a need for someone to promote and demonstrate cloth nappies in this area. I simply want to help more people to use cloth on their babies. Profits will be used to get the message out to more mums and dads in the Abergavenny area. You can, of course, buy lots of cloth nappies online but I have discove

Why use cloth nappies? Cloth nappies will save you lots of money! You can buy enough nappies for your baby for around £120. This would only buy around 6-9 months worth of disposables. Most people save around £500
Laundering your nappies at home will cost about £1 a week. Around 8 million disposable nappies are thrown away every day in the UK! We do not know how long it takes for the plastics in disposable nappies to decompose but it could take hundreds of years. A baby in disposables will need about 4,000 nappy changes

The nappies I sell are made with love, in the UK. They are made to a very high standard and should last for several children! They are designed to keep things in, whilst being breathable

Cloth nappies contain no chemicals

10% of my profits will be donated to Mother's Union, a Christian charity working around the world to help and support families

The Monmouthshire council offers a £30 discount for parents (minimum purchase required)

They come in lots of lovely colours, they look so nice you'll want to show them off. The fabrics most commonly used to make the nappies themselves are incredibly soft and comfortable, particularly bamboo. An independent study showed that the type of nappy worn made no difference to the incidence of nappy rash

Here at Natural Weigh we 💚 reusable nappies. Our little boy has been in them since he was born and they have saved us a fortune as well as all this single use waste.

This is a post from the lovely The Nappy Lady and it just sums up why reusables are so fab.

🌍 Single-use baby nappies, wet wipes and menstrual products cause approximately 7,832,000 tonnes of waste per year in the EU!
🌍 Which is roughly the weight of a potty trained toddler, per person per year, being thrown away just in nappies, wipes and menstrual products.
🌍 As many as 51 trillion microplastic particles - 500 times more than the stars in our galaxy —litter our oceans and seas, seriously threatening marine wildlife.

♻️ In 2020 volunteers collected an average of 18 wet wipes per 100 metres on UK beaches

It was lovely to give an introduction to cloth nappies to an antenatal group today. The last time I did that was 10 years ago and I mostly got negative responses. I'm glad that opinion has changed and new parents are at least willing to give it a go. Thanks for the encouragement guys and give me a message if you want to borrow the trial bucket.
