The hardest part of Prophecy is the burden of truth telling. Virtue Signalling is popular for everyone likes to be liked. The risk of truth telling is, even if the human heart can see dishonesty and untruth, it seldom likes the truth. We can handle anything so long as our relationship with the divine is open and sincere. When the rot sets in we reject truth. Micah was called to prophesy against this corruption. What a call?

Day 13: The Lord loves the gates of Zion
more than all the dwelling places of Jacob. Psalm 87.2
It is extraordinary claim that it woke me up this morning from my slumber saying of Morning Prayer.
What are the Gates of Zion that the Lord loves more than all the dwelling places of Jacob. God loves the Safeguarding the People of God more than the Virtue Signalling of the Church was my first thought. A follow up study revealed something extraordinary and I pray God will bless each of us in our fasting and prayer for the Church. The healing and restoration of the victims who suffered unspeakable harm is more precious in the sight of God than keeping up appearances before a lost and beloved world around us?

Day 12: And his face was like the face of an Angel. Acts 6.15
The blessing of our journey through this season of Transfiguration is that what was said about Stephen could be true of us. The eyes of Stephen were focused on Jesus. In beholding the face of Jesus totally, intently and joy, his own face reflected the grace and beauty of the face of Jesus.
