FAMILY FUN DAY! ST COLUMBA'S BRIDGE OF DON – SAT 29 AUGUST 2026, 9:30AM - 2:00PM. Join us for a joyful day filled with creative workshops, games, and activities for all the family, along with a special Family Mass. Children must be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian who will remain on site throughout the day. There will be dedicated activity streams for children aged 7–9 and 10–12. THE OGILVIE CENTRE CATECHETICAL MINISTRY COURSE. Catechists and potential catechists are warmly invited to take part in this year's Catechetical Ministry Course, running from September to May. The course is designed to provide deeper faith formation while also equipping participants with practical skills to share and transmit the faith effectively. OUR LADY OF ABERDEEN FEAST in our Parish is transferred from 9th July to this Sunday. After Mass procession with Our Lady of Aberdeen statue around the church, games for children, tea and coffee, BBQ.

SEA SUNDAY: 12th July 2026 - Sea Sunday, when the Church prays for all those who live and work at sea. There will be a second collection for Stella Maris (the Apostleship of the Sea), the official maritime welfare agency of the Catholic Church.

RADIO MARIA UK, a Catholic radio station providing prayer, catechesis, music, and faith-filled conversation twenty-four hours a day, has launched a major new DAB signal reaching up to 70% of Scotland's population, including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, and the central belt. AFTER SUNDAY 11.00 MASS IN PARISH HALL, WE WILL DISCUSS WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE FOR PARISH FEAST.

CHILDREN COMPETITION: ON OUR LADY OF ABERDEEN FEAST DAY – 5th July 2026, AFTER THE PROCESSION, THE FINAL PRIZE DRAW (10 prizes from all pictures collected through the year)

THIS SUNDAY: Day For Life: Second collection for the apostolate of the defence of life from conception to natural death.

FUNDRAISING CONCERT: In aid of funds to Roxburghe House a variety of song from Scene and Screen. Our Lady of Aberdeen Church, Friday 26th June 2026, 7.00pm. Tickets: £5 – adults, £2.50 – children under 12years. Raffles and refreshments.

DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE – Bishop Hugh extends an invitation to you to the annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Pluscarden Abbey on Sunday, 28th June. Optional pilgrimage walk from Greyfriars Convent, Elgin (10am) or Torrieston Walks (1:15pm), refreshments at the Abbey (12:00-2pm), Adoration (1-2:30pm), priests available for Confession (1:30-2:30pm), and Holy Mass (3pm) followed by procession in honour of Our Lady. The planned events provide a perfect opportunity for enjoying the grounds of the Abbey and meeting people from across the Diocese. For those who wish to attend our Mass at Kincorth and head to Pluscarden Mass will be said at 10.00am for one week only
