Sermon Note
Ministering: Pastor Chris Gbenle
Topic: From Glory to Glory
Scripture: Exodus 33:18–19
I believe that Moses’s request was unusual (strange). This is because he had such a close relationship with God (Deut. 9:9), yet he asked to see God’s glory as if he hadn’t seen it before.
3 takeaways from Moses’ experience
i. There is more you can be.
ii. There is more you can do.
iii. There is more you can experience.
The key to success (and it applies to heaven as well) is believing you can be more, do more, and experience more.
• Young people and students: do not settle for lower grades. Keep pressing on. Ecc. 12:1. David did not stop at killing the lion and the bear; he went on to conquer Goliath.
• Young parents: do not put your life on hold. Life never gets easier except for failures. Even for the failures, life is harder. Proverbs 20:29.
• Older people: leverage your experience. Do not fall into the trap of retirement. Tit. 2:1–4.

Two categories of people that you may come across who may checkmate your progress:
i. Those who don’t want your progress. They are like stumbling blocks but are meant to be stepping stones. When you see such, know that promotion is around the corner.
ii. Those who are overprotective of you (due to love). Do not succumb to their opinion, as they can become stumbling blocks or limiting agents. Num. 11:25–30.……………..
