Hello everyone,
Prayer Letter, Sunday 6th September 2026.
The next meeting of the prayer group will be on Wednesday 9th September 2026 at the back of the Sanctuary at 9:45 am. Please come along before the midweek service and add to our group. Everyone is most welcome, even if just to participate silently in our prayers.
Give thanks for our service this morning, for Keith’s message on the subject of worry and trust in the Lord and for the new people who came to join us in worship and fellowship after the service. Give thanks also for the new series of classes starting this afternoon, based on “Leading your Church into Growth”, a course for the whole Church family (7 Sunday afternoon sessions). Give thanks that our new intergenerational mission worker has begun her work among us and pray that the Lord will direct and bless her steps.
Give thanks that the five year old twin is now on his third chemotherapy treatment and please pray for the other twin and for the whole family at this difficult time for them all.
Let us pray for all whose life is filled with worry about one thing or another, health, family problems or other concerns. Let us pray that these people will all turn to the Lord for comfort.
Remember also on the international scene, negotiations which are taking place and pray for integrity, patience and wisdom among leaders of nations.
The healthcare chaplain at ARI asks us to pray this week for the ancillary staff: porters, domestics, security, maintenance, catering, laundry, IT and comms, electricians.
