We Meet on Sundays at 11am and 6pm. We meet at 10.15 to pray for Torry, Our nation and the needs of the world.

We are a fellowship seeking the glory of Jesus Christ as we proclaim faithfully the Word of God; seek Him in prayer; and grow together in the love of Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit; so that we may serve Him in every way. We offer the option to join our services via Zoom

We also have a variety to groups meeting throughout the week;

- The Girls Brigade meet on Mondays 6.30 at the Church

- The Boys Brigade meet on Friday nights 6.45 at the Church
- Come to pray happens fortnightly on a Thursday morning. If there is anything you would like us to pray for then message us here.
- There is also the opportunity to join a home fellowship group that will meet during the week to Study the Bible, pray and spend time together.

This Sunday in Mark, we came to the healing of the woman with the continuing bleed, who touches Jesus’ robe to be healed:
“As Jesus blesses her; He connects her faith not to something in general, but to Jesus in particular, and she finds that God is not far off from her; but near to the humble and broken-hearted.”

A little information about the 20th Company Boys’ Brigade, who are very much part of our church family here at Torry UF Church.

Their first evening back is this Friday and offers a fun, friendly and welcoming place for boys aged 5 to 18, with games, crafts, marching, tuck shop and much more throughout the year.

They meet every Friday during term time from 6:45pm – 8:30pm here at Torry UF Church.

New members are always very welcome! If you have a son, grandson, or know a young person who might enjoy coming along, please encourage them to give it a try.

This week found us with the parable of the sower and our sowing the gospel: ‘We scatter; we can’t prejudge the soil; we don’t know what’s going on when it lands. We especially have no way of discerning that when the word goes out whether spiritually it’s hit path; rocky; thorny or good. And beyond that, even when it falls into the ground, we have no way of knowing what’s going on either. It’s taking a long time? So? Is there nothing happening, or is it taking a long time to germinate? God alone knows. Our task is simply to be faithful.’

This week we came to ask who were Jesus family: ‘Hebrews speaks of Jesus standing before the throne and saying: “Here am I and the children you have given me”. How do you get to this exalted and privileged spot? No claim, other than love for Jesus; and obedience to His will. Faith, and the life of faith.’

This week Jesus touches on the meaning of the Sabbath: ‘It is a time and space to enjoy God in the fellowship of His people. After all, what is man’s chief end? To glorify God and to enjoy Him forever. What are we doing together as the people here on this day? We are purposely gathering to glorify God and to delight in Him; to enjoy Him.’
