Thanks so much to everyone who came to our Doors Open Day on Saturday, and particularly to the five organists (Five!) who came to play for us at various points. And thanks to the volunteers who came to serve tea, answer questions and judge the treasure hunt.

Doors Open Day for us tomorrow! I know we're at the end of the route, but it's worth it to see a display of historical vestments, read about the history of the Tartan Kirkie, and do our little treasure hunt! Some limited parking on site for blue badges, paid parking on the street, or just off the 23 bus route (take the Carden Place stop). Wheelchair access via the side door.

Through the big red door, and we're into the main part of the church. First there's the granite font, where people can be baptised to welcome them into the church family. Then there's a children's corner - I liked that! Then up on the left there's a little side chapel with a pretty three-part picture and a very old table for Communion.
