Chat and Chill on Tuesday 11th November at 2PM is open to all. Come and hear local author Peter Watson speak about his experiences in writing and publishing his first book, "The Sillingham Robins", get a hint or two about his new book coming soon, hear about his part in setting up a charity for Younger People With Dementia (YPWD) and enjoy tea, coffee and refreshments in good company. Entry from the Rosehill Drive hall doors, admission free, optional donation towards the refreshments. Raffle donations very welcome.
Peter Watson was born in North Norfolk. Most of his working life has been spent in the IT industry. After retiring to North-East Scotland he decided to pursue his love of creative writing, publishing and producing his first time crime novel, The Sillingham Robins. Pete also set up and ran a charity in Berkshire called Younger people with Dementia (YPWD). It’s now one of the top charities in the UK focusing on the needs of working age people and their carers. For 9 years he worked with the government on the Dementia Programme Board advising on dementia strategy.
