Work is progressing well on the wall in our main hall, with the new plasterboard going up ahead of plastering and painting.

With the work continuing, there will be no Small Groups again this evening. Thank you for your patience while these improvements are being made.

Please help us pass the message on, especially to anyone who may not see this post.

The battle ahead can make us forget God’s faithfulness behind us. Remembering what He has already done helps us trust Him with what we’re facing today.

Whatever this week holds, bring it before the same God who has carried you this far.

1 Samuel 17:37 NLT
The LORD who rescued me from the claws of the lion and the bear will rescue me from this Philistine!" Saul finally consented. "All right, go ahead," he said. "And may the LORD be with you!"

We’d love to see you at church tomorrow.

We’re starting a new series called Lions & Bears, looking at the battles others don’t always see and how we find strength in God to face them.

Whether you’ve been following Jesus for years, you’re finding things difficult or you’re still working out what you believe, you’re welcome here.

Our prayer is that as we worship Jesus and hear His Word, we’ll encounter Him together.

10:30am, with coffee from 9:45am.

// NEW SERMON SERIES //

Following our Facing Giants series during the summer, this Sunday we’re beginning a brand-new five-week series called LIONS & BEARS.

As we continue our Year of Strengthening, we’re returning to the life of David. Before he ever faced Goliath in public, David had already fought lions and bears in private.

The truth is, we all face battles that nobody else sees. Battles with temptation, our desires, the pressures of the world and even the struggle to spend time with God.

Over the next five weeks, we’ll discover what the Bible teaches about these private battles, how we can overcome them through the power of the Holy Spirit and the grace of God that helps us get back up when we fall.

Because if we’re going to stand strong in public, we need to learn how to walk with God in private.

Join us this Sunday as we begin LIONS & BEARS! 🦁🐻

Why is prayer so important?

When we pray, we invite God and His presence into our lives and circumstances. We bring our needs before Him, ask for His help and trust Him to work in ways we cannot.

Whatever you’re facing today, you can bring it to God in prayer. You don’t have to face it alone.

Watch our Prayer Basics series on YouTube to learn more and grow in prayer.

There will be no Small Groups tonight due to the ongoing building work at church.

Please help us spread the word and let anyone know who might not see this post.

We’re hoping everything will be fine for Sunday and will keep you updated. Thank you for your understanding!

// BE ONE CONFERENCE 2026 //

What an amazing weekend at Be One Conference!

Across Saturday at Gateway and Sunday at Hope Church, Cwmaman, we were so blessed as we worshipped, heard God’s Word and spent time together in His presence.

We’re so grateful to partner with Hope Church and share these special times together. A huge thank you to Dave and Ruth for ministering to us, and to everyone who came, served and helped make the weekend possible!

Saturday’s sermons are now live on our church YouTube channel and website. Catch up on anything you missed or take some time to listen again!
