Please see the message below from the Archdeacon which was announced in our churches on Sunday 21 June 2026.

We are delighted to share with you all that The Lord Chancellor has approved the appointment of the Reverend Timothy Edward Goodbody as Rector of the Rodings, Easters and Great Canfield, which became vacant by the resignation of the Reverend Robert David Stone. We are looking to license Tim to the benefice on 9th September 2026 – further details will be announced soon. Please do pray for Tim and his family as they make this transition into a new chapter of ministry.

Tim’s last service as our Associate Minister will be on Sunday 5th July, after which he will take a break from the benefice before stepping into his new responsibilities in September. Tim, Ruth, and their family will continue to live in High Easter Rectory.
