🎼 WORSHIP - SINGING : IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

🎤 We confirm that the "WORSHIP SINGING" event will take place at "La Bonne Nouvelle Strasbourg" church, 4 rue des magasins, starting at 10:00 on Saturday October 14.

🗓 Program of the day:

(Important note: you can come at every session, starting with lunch time, or just one, it is really up to you. The morning session is reserved to Worship Team Members.)

10:00 - 12:00: Worship Team Vocal Technique
12:00 - 14:00: Lunch (everyone brings their own packed lunch)
14:00 - 16:00: Bible study
16:00 - 16:30: Break, snack time (bring a cake or cookies or drinks to share)
16:30 - 18:30: Vocal Technique lesson for the congregation

NB: kids starting from grade 4 to 5 (CM1/CM2) are welcome to participate with their parents (no kindergarten planned).

🙌 Entente Youth Meeting

The "Entente Jeunesse" (Evangéliques du Bas-Rhin) is proposing a meeting for young people from all of our churches. The subject is "Identity - Seeking Answers". Please feel free to share this event with the youths of the congregation!

🎶 Vocal Training and Bible Study 📖

🗓️ October 14th
🕔 Morning: Worship Team - Afternoon: anyone!
📍 Church Building - 12 rue du Cygne

Rebecca Elling, one of our worship leaders and professional singers, offered to the church to have one special day dedicated to worship.

The morning will be dedicated to the worship team with teachings about basics of singing and exercises (how to breath, how to bring the best of you to God while singing, etc...).

After sharing lunch together, she will give a teaching about what the Bible says about worship. This will be open to everybody in the church. Then she will give another teaching about basics of singing for whoever in the church wants to participate.

The idea: worship is not just about singing or playing an instrument, but it's an important part of it. Some people may not feel comfortable singing, but it's accessible to everybody, especially with a few tips from a professional singer :)

Join us for a special Sunday of worship and presenting the ministries, leadership and life groups of Trinity International Church of Strasbourg. You will get to know the ministries that make things happen at TICOS in the leading and power of the Holy Spirit for the glory of Jesus Christ. You will also hear of ways you can be involved. After the service we will all share in a meal of Tartes Flambées! So please come enjoy this time of worship and fellowship together.

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE CANCELED

Dear TICOS Church family,

The elders of TICOS have reluctantly made the decision to cancel our Christmas Eve Service. Due to a majority of our church leadership and all our worship leaders either being ill or unavailable, including the pastor and several elders, after prayer, made the decision to cancel the Christmas eve service. Please keep all in prayer.

✨Holiday Service Schedule

TICOS will be having a Christmas Eve (Saturday, December 24th) Service from 5:00-6:00 p.m. There will be no service on Christmas Day.

On New Year’s Day (Sunday, January 1) we will have a service of thanksgiving and prayer at 3:00 p.m. followed by refreshments.

Plan on bringing food (sweet or savoury) to share and celebrate the blessing of 2022 and anticipate God’s blessing for 2023

Please, do not miss our church potluck, the last sunday of the month!

We hope everyone has enjoyed their summer vacations! Now is a chance to come back together for a family meal with our church family! Everyone is invited to come to share a meal and enjoy a time of fellowship after the service, at the church location. It is an opportunity to get to know each other

We need the power of God to live the life God called us to live. We need Him all the time. But in these times of trial and “distancing” it is even more apparent. Jesus promises to never abandon us to our fears or leave us in our failures. But for our part, we must not ignore or marginalize the Holy Spirit. When we do, we settle for less when God offers more. We must cultivate the presence of the Holy Spirit!

Nous avons besoin de la puissance de Dieu pour vivre la vie que Dieu nous a appelée à vivre. Nous avons besoin de Lui tout le temps. Mais en ces temps d'épreuve et de "distanciation", c'est encore plus évident. Jésus promet de ne jamais nous abandonner à nos peurs ou nous laisser dans nos échecs. Mais pour notre part, nous ne devons pas ignorer ou marginaliser le Saint-Esprit. Quand nous le faisons, nous nous contentons de moins quand Dieu nous offre plus. Cultivons la présence du Saint-Esprit!
