who so kindled the flame of love
in the heart of your servant George
that he bore witness to the risen Lord
by his life and by his death:
give us the same faith and power of love
that we who rejoice in his triumphs

Come along this Saturday 20 September between 1000h and 1700h to see this brilliant gem just a few steps from the Arc de Triomphe.
Built in the 1970's its a successful mix of Anglicanism and the theology of the Church presented by the Second Vatican Council.

Pour trouver St George's, vous devez descendre de la route afin de découvrir une église cachée qui reflète la fin de la chrétienté dans l'Europe du XXe siècle.

Une magnifique fenêtre moderne représentant l'Arbre de Vie inonde l'espace de lumière ; les sièges sont disposés autour de l'autel, sous un éclairage particulier, reflétant le peuple de Dieu suivant la colonne de lumière dans l'Exode. Des visites guidées toutes les heures vous présenteront l'histoire de la congrégation - la plus ancienne de Paris - et certains de ses prêtres.
