After finishing all of the small prophets📚 we then moved on to 🥁🥁. . . Thessalonians by Paul the apostle of Christ. We went over first an introduction 🎯to learn of the power of God's word alone after the 📖Paul, Silas, and Timothy ministered to them. Word was out of their 📰miraculous conversion even despite the 📈jews rioting + Thessalonica being a flourishing city for shopping🛍 prior. Much of the 51 AC history can be found in 🕰📖Acts 16-17. Timothy and Silas had just went back there and after they joined 🔃Paul in Corinth. The way God's word is orchestrating🧐 all of this for there to truly be a church of Christ that assembles, acknoweledges👀 the Lord, and rejects idols even when the apostles left is 🙏amazing. It shows for us that its 💯 His word that convicts and not we 🤔ourselves. We ought to share the Gospel, and acknowledge who the Lord is💡 through our 🏃actions as He is our 🪪new identity.

When we finished the last of Malachie final small the prophet📚 we discussed much about the book of Life🧐📖. There is👥 mention of those who gathered together to📖 discuss the word out of fear of God and they will recieve the🔊 righteousness💯 in the coming day of the Lord. "Sun 🌞of righteousness" was used to symbolize what that day means as they ponder what to do in the 👏meantime as long as they live; 1️⃣Remember My word +2️⃣ Live for Me! They'll be saved and receive healing while those who don't and have no👀 fear of God will receive 💥destruction that day. Personal application for this passage is to continue to try and try again to 🫡follow christ as He is the one who changes the hearts of 👨‍👦‍👦father to children and children to the father.

Malachie 🔎3:13-15 during our study📖 we noticed how God's people have been simply testing His word as they've been finding His commands to be a burden🥵. In doing so they've forgotten all that God has done and said by focusing only on 👑appearences which will be their downfall. Its God 🤔suffers the most seeing them turn away countless times. An application for us when considering how they killed God's prophets ✍️and never confessed their sin is for us to take those tough times as moments🌳 to Grow closer 🙏to God. To be a diciple of Jesus mean't you lived, eat, etc with the 📌teacher Himself Jesus which also entails🧐 you would have received same persecution ⚔️by association. Jesus has promised that we will 🎬suffer and reign with Him so we must accept both sides to inherit the kingdom and see the 📚commands of God not as a burden but to be satisfied in as opposed to self 🍭gratification. He is coming back 🔊mathew 6:19 "do not store up treasures here".

🧐📖Malachi 2:17-3:6 We contiued our studies to find God talking about their concerns ☝️👥of God's justice. Judah has often critizes whether God is being juste seeing that 🕵️‍♂️evil doers prosper in their time yet while they (judah) have knowingly comitted 👣abominations before God's eyes. God warns us that they have mistankly relied on 👓appearences and that's why He is sending the messenger(John) to prepare the way for Jesus who will 📚first come to save and then ⏰second time to Judge🔥. We see how this relates back to the constant cycle of the Old Testament of how the people stumble then God sends a prophet which they kill💀 because they aren't 👎pleased by God's judgement and finally they repent after⏱ being under the weight of God's 👀unchanging Justice. We found personal application in leaving justice to God even when it concerns modern trouble📊 and 📰confusion today. God saying "I wouldn't want anyone to 🤔perish" then later "I never change🔁" is reassuring and motivating to look past appearences.

Malachi 📖ch2:13-16 we read how this is particualry towards Judah's priests, kings and 🤷‍♂️everyone. It's how they pretty much ignore many of God's 📜commands concerning the jewish 👥lineage and being distinguished among the nations. This was seen most often in the kings who'd marry someone outside of Isreal and rest of the nation followed such as👑 Solomon being yoked with many foreigners. God's 🧐 wrath is also due to adultry taking place and much treacherous 🤫actions being dealt amongst eachother. Most personal applications deal with how we ought not to think we can impress God 😳in anyway but seek to restore relationships because later verse 16 "God He Hates divorce‼️" As followers of Christ we ought to set right 👀example in order to not expose one another to sin💀 which we should be trully grieved when we understand how it affects the 🔄entire body +church. Prayer, true repentance, and accountability is needed.✍️

Malachi📖 2:1-12 the majority🧐 of this part is again addressed to the priest who are responible and will receive the 🎯rebuke for the damaged relationship💔 with God. 👀Animals will be on their face, God will curse their blessing but He will still 🔄keep the covenant as shown throughout the📚 old testament. Even when the house of Levi Priests have failed to be knowledgable, and have truth in their 👅mouths to be messengers or ambassadors for Him. Even today we should seek to treat God as a 🤫👑king who is to be feared when it comes to how He wants/wills things. We've been made into holy priesthood and thus ought to have a🙏 willful desire to give God's message in its fullest via our way of🏃 life.

Last week we continued 👍📖our study of Malachi through the end of Ch1. God🧐 has addressed this mostly to the ✍️priests for they are responsible for teaching the 📌law from Moses and offering sacrifices which they’ve not been adhering to God's instructions👀. God had been displeased that they were offering sick, lame, or even blind animals on the altar and it shows a lack of respect. The fear of God is not🤔 in them to reject what makes them comfortable and to take His instructions🔎📋 serious. This goes along with other passages in the Bible like 1st Timothy 1:15, Luke 18 and others specifically warning us not to perceive obedience as a burden. Personal application again to observe our 🫵🫵posture/heart as we worship and learn to do what the Lord🎁 loves.

We studied The context around Malachi 📚the prophet and saw how God 🫶has over the centuries shown much love and grace to the children of Israel. That He loved them first and chosen them to be distinguished even following Babylon exile. They come to think to themselves where is God🤔? Israel has went back to practicing social injustice and idolatry which is why He’s sent His Last prophet Malachi 'His Messenger'🤓 in Hebrew. He proposes to the people that God had no interest in what they’ve done from beginning but just showed undeserved🪗 grace to the people. This is proven throughout the Bible in Genesis when He loved Jacob and hated Esau all the way to Revelations where all salvation belongs to God. It’s best as followers to take this humble posture, see we had no notable CV nothing and we were saved by Grace through faith in Christ.

This week in Haggai ch 2 📖we studied how God prompts the remnant after 70 years of enslavement⛓ to ask the priest on the contagiousness of Holliness and sin? If one who is unclean touches something clean such as the temple it doesn't garuntee instant cleanliness and instead 🧲uncleanliness is actually what is contagious. God brings them back again to importance of their hearts and considering 🔍their ways. Only way to become clean is by God's divine intervention✍️ and grace. Its nothing we can physically🏃 do but what God's son Christ has done by taking on all what it means to be a👀📚 servant. Those who follow will nolonger be unlcean as a Christ cleanliness and pure heart takes all 🧽🩸of their uncleanliness. The application🤔 for this passage was to believe that God has not forgotten us 🌐wherever we may be and that His authority 👑still stands which ⚖️we can see through Zorobabel as a 🕹signet ring.

Haggai Ch 2, we studied📖🤓 this week a message this time to the people to be encouraged that God is👥 with them. The remnant are asked to remember💯 what the temple was like back when solomon built it. They were curious 👀 as to why it was different and what it meant but God leaves them⚖️❌🥈 no room for boasting. God's message to them is to ignore what it may 🧐look like and persevere and be strong because He is with them. Even as we proceed into the endtimes God's remenant can remind themselves that it is Him who🤔 will shake the earth, heavens, and sea plus 🙌Him who will complete the good work in us. He tells us not to fear as all ⏳of christ, completeness and God's Glory wil be here👀. Continue 🏃‍♂️ in sacrificial love and steadfastness of hope.

Last week we studied 📖Haggai the end👀 of chapter 1 where the remnant🤲 has seized the moment 🏃and obeyed the voice of God👂. The text shows how if they follow God's📜 instructions even in the midst of opposition 🥵🏹and hardships He will be there with them 👍forever. Like many other prophets God's word will not comeback empty🌳 Isiah 55:10-11, which confirms Haggai is a🧐 true prophet. We talked about how however we may suffer we must'nt lose🧐 sight that God is doing all things and has given us each a role🎬 to bring glory💯 to His name. The temple again today relates to our lives👥, our bodies which Yahwei Himself wants📓 build🔧🗃 if we do it His way and seize the moment when He instructs📖 us(Psalms127). This passage reminds us of how our hearts were stirred by God and understand the sinful things we were freed from⛓.

Our recent study has been📖 in the Prophet Haggai where the children of Israel "God's people" have neglected 😑God's command to rebuild the temple📌 and instead been rebuilding their homes🏠.
The temple of God was where His presenceused to on ly💯 dewell and where they could go to God, but it has been destroyed since 👑Solomon last built it. This command from God to be more concerned about his temple or dwelling place kind of forshadows Jesus teaching His followers🤓 their bodies are 💯His temples. The people of Israel have mostly forgoten how in the wilderness and desert God provided for all 🧐✍💧🛏their needs, and thus they need not to be too concerned with building their own houses first when it comes to a God that brought 💧📜water out of the desert. We often find ourslevees in similar habits of thinking first of our needs and safety📋. We must remember that our walk, His kingdome, and His church come first🥇. God's responds to this by saying He will stop all the oil and grain👀. Commands we must consider our ways even in 🥵enduring times as an opportunity to bring 👉glory to God. Heed His precise word/instructions such as going to 📜mountains for wood, even similar to 📖Noah builing a what might have seemed strange arc🤨 for the great flood 🌊to ⏰come.
