ULTIMATE DANGER OF NOT SERVING OR BEFRIENDING GOD'S ANOINTED
" For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, said the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end" -Jeremiah 29:11
It doesn't matter whether you are rich or poor, educated or not, you are still special and important person to God. He created all things for you that are beautiful and good. He did this so that you could fully enjoy life. Infact you are so loved by Him that He has a wonderful plan that includes you and everyone that has ever been born into human family.
God know that you are disturbed by sin, sickness and suffering which one day will bring you and all mankind to the point of death. It's because of Adam's disobedience that all this happened. The penalty pronounced on Adam was that the day he eat the forbidden fruit he would die (Gen 2:16). The penalty was passed all Adam's descendants. Out of great love, God sent His only begotten son to the earth to suffer and die on the cross of Calvary for your sins and sins of the whole world. We can read this in John 3:16-17, "For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not sent His son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." Apostle Paul states in 1st Tim 2:5-6, "For there's one God and one mediator between man and God, the man Jesus Christ, who gave himself as a ransom for all men - the testimony to be given in it's proper time." Could there be anything better or more beautiful than life everlasting without sorrow and pain, filled with peace and happiness without end.
Yes, God in His Plan has provided for the restitution of all that you have lost you have lost by Adam and for a resurrection of all the dead. (See Acts 3:19-21 and John 5:28). He has planned for a future kingdom where there will be no more crying, suffering or dying and all will be righteously in harmony with one another. See Rev. 21:3-4; Isaiah 2:4; 9:6-7; 26:9), Jesus death made all possible for me and you. Fantastic! Unbelievable, you may say! No dear reader, it's absolutely true. God offers the gift to you entirely without cost. Yes, salvation is the gift of God's Amazing Grace. There's nothing that you can do to earn it. Repenting from your sins and believing in Jesus puts you in a position to receive a standing of justification before God. Rom. 3:22 tells us, "This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe." Vs. 24 says that "all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus."
Did you also know that at this time God is calling out a special people to help bless all the families of the earth in His future kingdom? (See Acts 15:14; Gen. 12:1-3; Gal. 3:29). This is a very special calling to the joint heir with Jesus (Rom. 8:17). This is a step beyond salvation. It's a call to be a disciple of Jesus Christ who said, "if you would be my disciple, you must deny yourself, take up your cross and follow me" (Matt. 16:24). It is a high calling, a heavenly calling (Phil. 3:14). If you heed this call, God will begin a great work in your life which He has promised to complete (Phil. 1:6). Do you hear God's calling? Is His Word and Spirit beckoning to you to give your heart to him in entire devotion and dedication? This is a choice that you can make right now. And if you acknowledge God with thy heart and lean not unto your understanding, the
Lord will always be with you to direct your paths (Prov. 3:5-6).
Dear reader, if you choose to deny yourself and follow Jesus, God will change you into the likeness of Jesus day by day from glory to glory 2 COR. 3:18). If you decide to follow Jesus and are faithful and obedient to His commands for all of your life, you will one day find yourself in the scene of 1John 3:2 which says, "Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is." It is impossible for us to to even imagine what this really means, but it is a glorious hope that is held out to you and to me. If you are have not yet made a decision to follow Jesus, don't wait any longer, make it today and you will never, ever regret it.
PRAYER OF SALVATION
Lord Jesus, thank you for loving and dying for me on the cross. I confess and repent of my sins. Forgive me for living without you. I invite you to come into my heart and life. Be my Lord and Savior from this day forward until you come home. Thank you, Father for accepting me back in Jesus name. Amen
