We are grateful for the support and team of Christ Covenant Church as they continue to grow their Kingdom connection in Paris. We look forward to serving with them in the Night of Worship tomorrow. If you are in Paris please consider joining us !

7:30pm Saturday May 23rd at 48 rue de Lille 75007 Paris. This will be a time to connect others to a local church and celebrate what God is doing amongst several churches across Paris. We are thankful for this team and others to put it all together !

As we continue going through the gospel of Mark, we have a mini-series the next few weeks. We will deal with Marriage (and s*x), Money (and greed), Power (and pride), and how Jesus’ lordship extends over all.

We covered marriage last week in Mark 10:1-17, and then tomorrow Sunday we will look at “Overcoming Wealth” in Mark 10:17-31.

We’ve been having fun at our RG women’s brunches !

A few months ago, we did some creative writing, art work, and even dance lessons at the park 🎨🖌️💃
All based on Bible learnings we’ve had from our current sermon series “Lord for Life”, on the Gospel of Mark. “The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it”, as the psalmist succinctly puts it, and so we enjoy beauty and art as good gifts from above !

Last March, several from our EIC team got to share and receive at this ministry leadership conference organized by the International Baptist Convention (IBC).

We are grateful for our connection with that allows us to be in relationships with churches and leaders in Europe and around the world. We look forward to growing this partnership, particularly in church planting endeavors across central Europe & beyond !

Easter is a day. It’s also a season (until Pentecost).

And it can be a life. We are to live as Easter Christians, people who know they will rise too, afflictions lead to resurrection, and all things are being made new. We’ll talk about these things and more in this short series : Resurrection & Reconciliation over the next couple of weeks.

Happy birthday EIC Rive Gauche ! 🥳

Last Sunday was our celebration. Three years ago (Easter 2023) we launched our first worship service here at Denfert-Rochereau in the heart of the 14th Arrondissement of Paris. We had been meeting in cafés in the area for over a year to pray over, plan, and grow a launch team. We had a vision to plant in a public space, to serve it, and by doing so contribute to the flourishing of this great city.

It’s always been our heart to establish a church here at Denfert and remains so. We are thankful for all the leaders who made significant contributions, all those who’ve worshipped with us, our mother and sending church at EIC Rueil, and partners who believed in this vision and work of a Family of Churches across Paris from the very beginning.

We will continue to be “A Sending Church with a heart for Paris, the World, and the Other Person” (John 10:16). Thanks above all to the Lord for His faithful provision. The best is yet to come !
