We are grateful for summer Sundays ! 🌞

Even though we have lots of people coming and going we look forward to worshipping together each week. If you are in Paris over a summer weekend, please join us. We will be in a new series : Greater Things to Come, the Hope Set Before Us.

We will be at Le Denfert Café at 3:30pm each Sunday through July 26. Would love to see you !

We began a new summer study last week !

It’s called - The Wisdom of God : Ecclesiastes Ties to Everything. We’ll take a look at how Ecclesiastes connects with our deep questions and the depths of our hearts in the next two months. We look forward to continuing this study and hope you’ll engage with us ! Thursdays, 19h, at Le Denfert Café.

Last week Saturday was a special evening in the center of Paris as we gathered with four other churches for a Night of Worship !

The theme was simple and twofold. First, there are so many people across Paris who have no connection to Christ or a family of Christ (a local church). Do we see them and are we intentional to help them connect to a church? Second, to highlight each church there, pray for their pastors, and encourage one another.

We hope to do these Nights of Worship more and more, using them as an opportunity to partner together to reach others 🙏✝️

We are grateful for the support and team of Christ Covenant Church as they continue to grow their Kingdom connection in Paris. We look forward to serving with them in the Night of Worship tomorrow. If you are in Paris please consider joining us !

7:30pm Saturday May 23rd at 48 rue de Lille 75007 Paris. This will be a time to connect others to a local church and celebrate what God is doing amongst several churches across Paris. We are thankful for this team and others to put it all together !

As we continue going through the gospel of Mark, we have a mini-series the next few weeks. We will deal with Marriage (and s*x), Money (and greed), Power (and pride), and how Jesus’ lordship extends over all.

We covered marriage last week in Mark 10:1-17, and then tomorrow Sunday we will look at “Overcoming Wealth” in Mark 10:17-31.

We’ve been having fun at our RG women’s brunches !

A few months ago, we did some creative writing, art work, and even dance lessons at the park 🎨🖌️💃
All based on Bible learnings we’ve had from our current sermon series “Lord for Life”, on the Gospel of Mark. “The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it”, as the psalmist succinctly puts it, and so we enjoy beauty and art as good gifts from above !

Our monthly women’s meets continue, and we hope you can join us for the next one. Bon week-end !

Last March, several from our EIC team got to share and receive at this ministry leadership conference organized by the International Baptist Convention (IBC).

We are grateful for our connection with that allows us to be in relationships with churches and leaders in Europe and around the world. We look forward to growing this partnership, particularly in church planting endeavors across central Europe & beyond !

EIC Rive Gauche is hosting a Night of Worship organised by a mission team from Christ Covenant Church in Atlanta, USA. It’s a wonderful opportunity to gather as a wider community for an evening of music, worship, and fellowship bringing together EIC, other churches, and, we hope, many new faces !

We warmly encourage you to come along and to think about whom you might invite — friends, neighbours, colleagues, and especially those who may not usually come to church.

Easter is a day. It’s also a season (until Pentecost).

And it can be a life. We are to live as Easter Christians, people who know they will rise too, afflictions lead to resurrection, and all things are being made new. We’ll talk about these things and more in this short series : Resurrection & Reconciliation over the next couple of weeks.
