Heavenly Father,

Today, four years after the passing of Queen Elizabeth 2nd, we remember with gratitude a life of devoted service, duty, and faith.

We give thanks for the years she was entrusted with the service of her people and the Commonwealth. May we remember her dedication, her quiet strength, and the promise she made to serve throughout her life.

Lord, grant her eternal rest and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace in Your loving presence.

Comfort all who continue to mourn her, and help us to carry forward the values of kindness, compassion, dignity, and service that she sought to embody.

May her memory remain a blessing to all who knew her and to all those whose lives she touched.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon her.
May she rest in peace. Amen.

Some of our Congregation, here in Négrondes, have a personal contact with the Congregation in Luxembourg. So today we join with the European Diocese in praying for them.

Heavenly Father,
we lift before you today the chaplaincy in Luxembourg,
giving thanks for the bond of fellowship we share with them
through the European Diocese and in the love of Christ.

Join us in our daily diocesan cycle of prayer as we think especially of our chaplaincies and congregations. Today, we remember especially our chaplaincy in Luxembourg.
