We're meeting in the aumônerie again this Sunday 10 May (thanks, friends!).
But there's no screen to project the order of service, so if you can, why not follow on your phone? It saves paper, and is easy to share.

Here in France our chaplaincies are sometimes far apart. But we are together in fellowship and in our shared mission.
At the moment, our church here in Lille is feeling the love and support not just from chaplaincies in France, not just from around the Diocese in Europe, but also from the other Dioceses in England.
Can't tell you how much this means to us here, and how much we value this community.

Latest information after the fire

The church building is out of use, but we are the church and we are carrying on.
Services on Sundays in the aumônerie opposite the church, see the website for details.

We are very sorry to have to announce that there has been a fire at Christ Church, mainly affecting the altar and the chancel and there has been major damage to the window.
You may see something on the local news or in the newspaper, so we wanted to warn you.

At the moment, the building is not usable, not just because of damage but because of the aftermath of a fire, smoke, soot and so on.

We will let you know later in the week what is happening, and for the congregation, what will happen about Sunday services.

For now, all our thanks go to the fire service, the police and the town hall for their prompt action, and particularly to the neighbour who spotted the smoke and called them in.
