Rangjung Yeshe Gomde Pyrénées

Busy days at Rangjung Yeshe Gomde Pyrénées. We just finished the annual three month retreat. We were so happy to see practitioners who took extended time to practice with a lot of devotion and really putting their effort into the practice.

Tomorrow the pre-retreat part for the three-year retreat will start. 3 months of accumulating Vajrasattva. This time we have also made it possible to anyone who wishes to join the accumulations at Gomde or online. You can still join. Check out the info on gomde.fr.

Yesterday the three-year retreat participants, helpers and everyone else came together to Gomde to have a teaching from Lama Tenzin Sangpo and enjoy lunch together. As the weather has been very hot, people also had a joyful moment at the pool.

May all practitioners be able to have all the conditions to practice and develop immeasurable loving kindness and wisdom in their hearts. May everyone be touched by the kindness and wisdom. And may you come soon to Gomde for practice. :)

Beautiful to see such amazing teachers together.

Amazing to hear that Rinpoche's introduced to Dalai Lama the Pal Thubten Shedrub Ling Monastery - Thousand Buddha Temple and Schloss Kremsegg - the castle that will become Buddhist University in Austria.

May Dharma help to bring kindness and wisdom to everyone to world and may the teachers who show the way have so long and healthy lives. May the students really practice the Dharma deeply!

For anyone thinking - will Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche come to Pyrenees this summer. We expect so. Most probably last days of August and beginning of September when the next group of three-year retreat is starting their full retreat. The dates are not yet confirmed and we will let you know as soon as the plans become confirmed.

For now Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche first summer trip details have been shared and there are many stops:

* June 2–4 & June 7, 2026 Ka-Nying Ling Dharma Society, Kuala Lumpur
* June 10–15, 2026 Rangjung Yeshe Gomde California

For the last three day the first seminar led by Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche at Kremsegg Castle took place. It is the new place that will be home for an international Buddhist University, and high school called Kindful Wisdom Institute.

Rinpoche gave teachings and we all could see this marvelous castle. It had been empty for years but in the last 3 week the amazing team and volunteers of Gomde Germany - Austria managed to bring life into the this historic building and it was so enjoyable.

We also took an offering from Lama Tenzin and everyone from Gomde Pyrenees for the success of this amazing project. May many people be touched by Dharma, by Kindness and Wisdom. May the world become a better place.

Rinpoche also led us for a khora to see the castle grounds and today we brought the wisdom of Buddha in the form of Kangyur and Tengyur to the castle.

Also all the teachings were streamed on Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche facebook and are definitely worth watching.

Gomde is in beautiful silence with a deep blue sky and spring green starting to cover the mountains.

Today the second half of our 3 month retreat starts and we would like to invite you again to join the Vajrasattva practice at 6:30 CET and the protector practice at 17:15 CET.

We have Tsok on Guru Rinpoche and Dakini days at 15:30 CET.

Lama Tenzin is happy to see and greet you and it is a wonderful way to connect with the retreat and the Sangha worldwide. Prayer requests are always welcome.

We are so so so happy that the three-month retreat is going on again. It is great that people come again and again to go deeper in the practice. To really develop boundless compassion and wisdom in their minds.

After the three-month retreat finishes in the end of May we will also have another amazing possibility to come and practice. From June to August, you can come and practice Vajrasattva accumulations with extensive purification practices. Doing it same time as the next three-year retreat group pre-retreat is going on.

There has been lots and lots of rain at Gomde in last weeks. And one of our volunteers has been doing great work with cleaning up a small riverbed, so we have a river now close to Gomde.

Dear Sangha, Gomde is still looking for a second cook and two retreat helpers for the 3-month retreat (February 22nd - May 20th). Ideally helpers come for the entire period, or 1 month. We also welcome everyone to help preparing the retreat!

Very importantly, we are also calling upon Sangha members who wish to serve Rinpoche’s vast activities to come and live at Gomde on a longer term basis. Committed resident volunteers are indispensable in running the centre - we need you now!
