Imprecatory prayers are required for any professing Christian. Why you might ask? My main point comes from the New Testament specifically due to some people wanting to no longer hold to anything bound in the Old Testament (please repent and believe the entire Bible), many will use The Lord’s Prayer as an example to only pray love and peace, but I can prove the necessity of these prayers with simply this:
how can we stay consistent with “Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done, On earth as it is in Heaven” without actively praying for the repentance and or downfall of wicked people, religions and corporations? Paul prays an anathema in Galatians 1:8-9 and 1 Corinthians 16:22. The Saints in heaven have also done the same “and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Master, holy and true? Will You not judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?””

Unfortunately the modern culture has condemned this, along with the biblical use of many things God has Instructed.
