ከንጉሥ ቀጥሎ ተሹሞ ላለው ለትዕቢተኛው አለቃና አዛዥ ሳምናስ በነቢዩ ኢሳይያስ በኩል የመጣለት መልዕክት፣
ኢሳይያስ 22
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
¹⁵ የሠራዊት ጌታ እግዚአብሔር እንዲህ ይላል፦ በቤቱ ውስጥ ወደ ተሾመው ወደዚህ አዛዥ ወደ ሳምናስ ሂድ እንዲህም በለው፦
¹⁶ መቃብር በዚህ ያስወቀርህ፥ ከፍ ባለው ስፍራ መቃብር ያሠራህ፥ በድንጋይም ውስጥ ለራስህ መኖርያ ያሳነጽህ በዚህ ምን አለህ? በዚህስ በአንተ ዘንድ ማን አለ?
¹⁷ እነሆ፥ እግዚአብሔር በኃይል ወርውሮ ይጥልሃል፥ አጠንክሮም ይጨብጥሃል።
¹⁸ ጠቅልሎም ያንከባልልሃል (አዙሮ አዙሮ እንደ ሩር አጡዞ (አ.መ.ትርጉም)፣ ወደ ሰፊይቱም ምድር እንደ ኳስ ይጥልሃል (ይወነጭፍሃል)፤ አንተ የጌታህ ቤት እፍረት! በዚያ ትሞታለህ በዚያም የክብርህ ሰረገላዎች ይሆናሉ።
¹⁹ ከአዛዥነት ሥራህ አሳድድሃለሁ፥ ከሹመትህም ትሻራለህ።
