The Summary of the Today's Study

Theme :Second Advent

Why Jesus's Second
coming is required?

Second coming of Jesus Christ is required because of His rejection during His first Advent.

At His first Advent,He fulfilled the following roles:

●Prophet (Embodying and Speaking forth God’s truth)

Key text:Hebrew 1:1-3

●Priest (Offering The Perfect Sacrifice for sin )

Key text :Hebrew 10:11-18

However,Christ was rejected in His role as King (John 19:12-17) ,and will return as :

1. Judge to subject God’s enemies to Himself
2.Execute judgment for sin, and
3.Then to rule and reign forever as King of kings 🤴 and Lord of lords.

Key texts:Daniel 2:34,44_45;1 Corinthians 15:24-28

Before I proceed with the summary of the second coming of Jesus's purpose,I would like to highlight Christ's work during tribulation.

Christ's Work During tribulation

1.In Heaven-Christ will evaluate believer’s works at the Bema Seat and celebrate with His bride,the church (Revelation 19:1_10:Revelation 5:1_6;2 Corinthians 5:7:10)

2.On Earth -Christ through His holy angels execute judgment against sin.

At the end of the 7 year tribulation period,Christ will return with His holy angels and saints to wage war against the beast and his ungodly hosts at the final battle of the campaign of Armageddon.

His victory is swift,complete,devastating.

Summary of the purpose of Christ's second coming

●Fulfill Prophecy
● Execute God’s wrath against sin as Righteous Judge
●Subject the nations to Himself So He can establish His millennial Kingdom reign on earth and reigns over the kings of the earth

Finally,It is obvious from the description and purpose that the Rapture and second coming are two different events.

If you want to know a real believer or born again Christian,don't look at his gift( The way he prays and speak );look at his/her character .

The character that the real believer must exhibit is the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatian 5:22_23) .This is our righteousness.
