ቤተክርስቲያኗ የተመሰረተችው በ1961 ዓ.ም ሲሆን፣ አጀማመሯም በጥቂት አማኞች አማካኝነት በየቤቱ በሚደረግ የጸሎትና የአምልኮ ሥነ-ሥርዓት ነበር።
የአማኞች ቁጥር እየጨመረ በመምጣቱ ቋሚ የመሰብሰቢያ ቦታ አስፈላጊ ሆነ። በዚህም መሠረት ኮሚቴ ተዋቅሮ ለከተማው መስተዳድር የቦታ ጥያቄ አቀረበ። መጀመሪያ ላይ መስተዳድሩ "ቦታ የለንም" በሚል ጥያቄውን ውድቅ ቢያደርገውም፣ አማኞቹ ግን በጸሎትና በጥረት በመቀጠላቸው በመጨረሻም አሁን ያለችበት ቦታ ተሰጣቸው።
ቤተክርስቲያኗ ያረፈችበት ቦታ ቀደም ሲል የቆሻሻ መጣያ ተብሎ የሚጠራ ሥፍራ ነበር። ዛሬ ግን ያ የተናቀ ስፍራ በእግዚአብሔር ረድኤት ተለውጦ ለከተማዋ ውበትና ለነዋሪዎቿ የመንፈሳዊ ዕረፍት ምንጭ የሆነ ታላቅ የአምልኮ ስፍራ ለመሆን በቅቷል።

ስለሚደርሰውና እየደረሰ ላለው በደል አስመልክቶ
👉 ወቅታዊ የአቋም መግለጫ ነጥቦች
ቤተክርስቲያኗ በሰሞኑ ሁኔታ ላይ ያላትን አቋም በሚከተሉት አምስት ነጥቦች ገልጻለች፡-
ሀ/ የጸሎት ጥሪ፦ በመላው ዓለምና በኢትዮጵያ የሚገኙ ምዕመናን ሁሉ ስለ ቤተክርስቲያኗ በጸሎት እንዲተጉ ጥሪ ቀርቧል።
ለ/ የስም ማጥፋት ዘመቻ ይቁም፦ በቤተክርስቲያኗና በመሪዎቿ ላይ የተጀመረው የማጥቃትና ስም የማጥፋት ዘመቻ በአስቸኳይ እንዲቆም ትጠይቃለች።
ሐ/ የልማት ስራ እንቅፋት ይወገድ፦ ቤተክርስቲያኗ የገዛ ይዞታዋን እንዳታለማ የተከለከለችበትንና በልማት ስራዋ ላይ የተጻፈውን የማገጃ ደብዳቤ አጥብቃ ትቃወማለች፤ የተጀመረው ሁከትም እንዲቆም ትጠይቃለች።
መ/ የሕልውና ጥበቃ፦ የቤተክርስቲያንን ሕልውና አደጋ ላይ የሚጥሉና ስሟን የሚያጠለሹ ማናቸውም የዘመቻ ተግባራት እንዲቆሙ አጥብቃ ታሳስባለች።
ሠ/ የመንግስት ጣልቃ ገብነት፦ የከተማው አስተዳደር በቤተክርስቲያኗና በመሪዎቿ ላይ እያደረሰ ያለውን ኢ-ሕገመንግስታዊ እርምጃና ዛቻ ቤተክርስቲያኗ አጥብቃ ትቃወማለች።
እኛ እንደ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ሁሌም ሰላምን፣ ፍቅርን እና አንድነትን በማስፋፋት ለማህበረሰብ ጥቅም መሥራታችንን እንቀጥላለን። በዚህም ጉዳይ ፍትሃዊ እና ሕጋዊ መፍትሔ እንዲሰጥ በክብር እንጠይቃለን። በቀን 17-08-2018 ዓ.ም. መልዕክቱ ለብዙዎች እንዲደርስ ሼር በማድረግ እንድትተባበሩ እናሳስባለን።
ቤተክርስቲያን በተለያዩ ዘርፎች የሰራችውን እና እየሰራች ያለችውን ተግባራት አያይዘን እናቀርባለን።
A Brief History and Current Status of Kale Hiwot Church, Areka City No. 1
The church was founded in 1961, and its beginning was a prayer and worship service held in each home by a few believers.
As the number of believers increased, a permanent meeting place became necessary. Accordingly, a committee was formed and submitted a request for a site to the city government. Although the government initially rejected the request, saying, "We do not have a place," the believers continued to pray and strive, and finally were given the current site.
The site where the church stands was previously known as a garbage dump. Today, however, that neglected site has been transformed by God's grace into a great place of worship that is a source of beauty for the city and a source of spiritual rest for its residents.
Recently, the Areka City Administration issued a statement regarding the abuse that has been and is being committed against the Qala Hiwot Church in Areka City No. 1
👉 Current Position Statement Points
The Church has expressed its position on the current situation in the following five points:-
A/ Call for Prayer: All believers throughout the world and in Ethiopia are called to pray for the Church.
B/ Stop the Defamation Campaign: It calls for the immediate cessation of the campaign of attacks and defamation against the Church and its leaders.
C/ Remove obstacles to development work: The Church strongly opposes the letter of prohibition that has been written on its development work and prohibits it from developing its own property; it also calls for the cessation of the violence that has begun.
D/ Protect the Existence: It strongly urges that any campaign activities that threaten the existence of the Church and tarnish its reputation be stopped.
E/ Government Intervention: The Church strongly opposes the unconstitutional actions and threats being taken by the city administration against the Church and its leaders.
We, as a church, will always continue to work for the benefit of the community by promoting peace, love and unity. We respectfully request that a fair and legal solution be provided to this matter. On 17-08-2018 E.C. We urge you to cooperate by sharing the message so that it reaches many.
