# The Creation of Skies

Aselamu Alykum Worahmetullah, families of Mysteries of the universe in Quran. today I came up with one of the most interesting topics in the creation of the universe, which is the creation of the skies.

I wanted to address the creation of the skies before the creation of the earth because, as you know, the earth's sustenance comes from the skies.

Ok, then, let us start...

This topic is not about the Earth, but I like to go on tangents and talk about interesting concepts. We should know that the skies were created before the earth, and everything in between took six days to be made.

3. Hud (11) - Aya - 7

Example: Al-A'raf

إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ يُغْشِي اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُ حَثِيثًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَاتٍ بِأَمْرِهِ أَلَا لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالْأَمْرُ تَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ (54)

> Indeed your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days, then established Himself on the Throne. He makes the day and night overlap in rapid succession. He created the sun, the moon, and the stars—all subjected by His command. The creation and the command belong to Him ˹alone˺. Blessed is Allah—Lord of all worlds!

**What a beautiful Aya Wallahi I have goosebumps reading it, as you can see, mentions six days.**

The question that first came to my mind was why, in six days, Allah is capable of creating it in a millisecond, or even less, or with no time limit.

# # # The scholars of the umma had discussed this and had opinions regarding it.

A. First, it could be to show the angles this magnificent creation process and make them witness their lord creating the universe.

B. Some of the scholars said that, actually, it could be a lesson for us human beings, that Allah (SWA) wanted to teach us one of the most beloved qualities to him which is *Ate-ani*, which is taking things strategically, slowly, gradually, and planning things out properly, so we learn from that to be gradual when we do things and to do things properly with Ihsaan ( excellence )

if you ask me, I am more attracted to second opinions because you can guess why :).

Ok, then what?

Our beloved prophet said that Allah (SWA) started the creation on the day of Saturday and finished the creation on Friday, which is the best day of the week.

We also completely reject the idea of Allah (SWA) needing to rest or relax, because Allah (SWA) says.

**Qaf - verse- 38**

وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِن لُّغُوبٍ ٣٨

Indeed, We created the heavens and the earth and everything in between in six Days, and We were not even touched with fatigue.

Even Allah (SWA) says we constructed the heavens or the skies with strength, and we are constantly expanding them.

**Adh-Dhariyat - verse 47**

وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيْنَـٰهَا بِأَيْيدٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ ٤٧

We built the universe with great might, and we are certainly expanding it.

In fact, this is a scientific miracle, As we know, the latest scientific discoveries prove that the universe in which we are living inside is expanding with an expansion speed greater than the speed of light.

Imagine our universe is expanding with an expansion speed our mind can not grasp, but the question is how much km/mil it expanded till now from it first created, I leave this to you to ponder…

to some of my favorite question.

Is the skies a solid objects? Or they are

Gasses? Interesting one don't you think?

Before we dive into what we found in our tradition, lets us look at what the modern science is saying.

Modern since doesn't have information about what is there above because we have limited technologies to travel directly above or below or right or left for hundreds of years, considering where we are on planet earth. And we can't reach the end because as we now our universe is expanding every mili second with a speed that is great than speed of light,impossible don't you think,

But in our Islamic tradition we have so many description given to as, that the skies are solid objects they even have doors that opens and closes, and they are 7 skies one above the other, and a travel between them, from one sky to the other take 500 years, but is it 500 years of the earth time or 500 years in Allahs time, because time is perspective, if it is in Allahs time the calculations to our time is different because one day in Allah is like a thousand years or some surah like 50000 years in earth time. I will let the calculations to you…

We talked about other creations could exist in those skies, we are in the first sky, which is called the worldly sky ( Semae adunya).

But some surah also say e.g. Surah a Kahf that the earth sky has been beautified with lights which means stars… And one can drive from this the other skies may not have the stars like we have… or even don't have any stars at all, because why needed to mentioning the earth sky alone… but this is an other discussion for an other time 🤗,

Aselamu Aleykum, the families of Mysteries of the universe in the Quran Today I have come up with the most controversial question and a question that has been there for centuries: yes, you guessed it right, are we alone in the universe? Are there any other intelligent beings other than us in this vast universe, because to think we are alone is ridiculous? Do you agree?

Ok, then let us talk about it in light of our tradition, meaning in the light of the Quran and Sunnah.

Lets us first list the main points we are going to discuss:

1. Did Allah Create Other Beings Other Than Humans, Animals, Jinnes, and Angels?

2. Do we have evidences from the Sunnah or Quran?

1. Other beings:

In the recent era, where technologies are booming and advancing, we are seeing huge concerns in the matter of aliens because, in the recent discussion in the American Parliament, UFOs (UnIdentified Flying objects) Or now called UAPs (UnIdentified Ariel Phenamona) have been discussed like never before, and the eyewitness reports are huge in numbers.

Is this a glimpse into the existence of other beings that have advanced technologies? that the humanities will never reach in a thousand years.

Ok, let us wrap our heads around this thing in the light of the Quran.

Are they before us, after us or at the same time like us? That is beside the point, but are there other creations of Allah? Perhapse Yes,

What are the verses that indicate we are not alone in this universe?

The first verse will shock you, like it shocked me the first time, because we always recite it five times a day and never pay attention.

2. Evidences from the Quran
A. Surah Al-Fatiha:

ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ٢

All praise is for Allah, Lord of all worlds.

Pay attention to the word "all worlds", This can be interpreted to mean that there are multiple worlds. Allah is the lord of every single Alem (World).

B. Surah Ash-Shuraa Verse 29:
وَمِنْ ءَايَـٰتِهِ خَلْقُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَثَّ فِيهِمَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ جَمْعِهِمْ إِذَا يَشَآءُ قَدِيرٌ ٢٩

"And among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and all living beings He scattered throughout heaven and earth. And He is Most Capable of bringing all together whenever He wills."

One could argue that it means this heaven and this earth, meaning our earth and our first heaven, but the term used is plural, meaning multiple heavens. This means there are creatures whome Allah (swa) scattered in the heavens that we don't know.

And the last phrase is "He is capable of cuasing them to meet if he wants (swa)". This phrase amazes me the most. because meeting each other means the creations are hidden from one another.

"And others will argue that this phrase is meant to be Allah speaking about the day of Judgment and this is also a valid point."

Regarding this, I lean towards the opinion of Ibn Taymiyyah (The Scholar of The Umma). More than 700 years ago, Ibn Teymiyyah said and defended the position by saying we are not the only creation of Allah, and it is somehow arrogant to assume we are the only creation of Allah, as Allah is the creator and He (swa) will always continue to create.

And the below verse is, i believe, the most significant evidence to indicate we are not alone in this world.

C. Allah says in Surah Al-Isra, Verse 70:

۞ وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ وَحَمَلْنَـٰهُمْ فِى لْبَرِّ وَلْبَحْرِ وَرَزَقْنَـٰهُم مِّنَ لطَّيِّبَـٰتِ وَفَضَّلْنَـٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٍ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقْنَا تَفْضِيلًا ٧٠

"Indeed, We have dignified the children of Adam, carried them on land and sea, granted them good and lawful provisions, and privileged them far above many of Our creatures."

This verse has a deep meaning. We know we are the children of Adam, and in the creation we see meaning around us: animals, jinns, and angels. As we know, Jinns and Angels are ordered to bow for us, and a righteous person is higher than the angels, so we are at the top of the hierarchy.

And the phrase "And privileged them far above many of Our creatures" many means, not all. This could indicate that there are other creations privileged higher than us with things we do not have, which is a bit shocking😮.

But over all, our tradition and the Quran are not explicit regarding the existence of other life forms but there are references that indicates that, some verses can be interpreted to be indicate that there are other life forms, but what we don not know is whether they live before us, after us or concurrently with us, That is unknown.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙨𝙢𝙤𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙗𝙨𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙮 𝙌𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙣 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙙. This is no longer the case, as our understanding of the universe has advanced and expanded significantly in the modern era.

𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞, while others are still being investigated. The concept of the expanding universe falls into the 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 '𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭' 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲. Edwin Hubble made the first discovery in the 1920s. 𝗛𝗼𝘄𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿, 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀:

وَلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيْنَـٰهَا بِأَيْي۟دٍۢ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ 51:47

𝙒𝙚 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 ˹𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩˺ 𝙢𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙒𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 ˹𝙞𝙩˺.

It should be remembered that the concept of the continuous expansion of the universe is exclusive to the Quran. No other Divine scriptures even remotely hint at it. The discovery that the universe is constantly expanding is of prime significance to scientists, because it helps create a better understanding of how the universe was initially created. It clearly explains the stage by stage process of creation, in a manner which perfectly falls into step with the theory of the Big Bang. The Quran goes further and describes the entire cycle of the beginning, the end and the return again to a similar beginning. The first step of creation as related in the Quran accurately describes the event of the Big Bang in the following words:

أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًۭا فَفَتَقْنَـٰهُمَا ۖ وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ
ٱلْمَآءِ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ حَىٍّ ۖ أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ 30 :21

Do the disbelievers not realize that the heavens and earth were ˹once˺ one mass then We split them apart? And We created from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?

𝘿𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 ˹𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚˺ 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙒𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩? 𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙒𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜. 𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚?

In this verse the words ratqan (closed-up mass), and fataqna (We clove them asunder), carry the basic message of the whole verse. Authentic Arabic lexicons3 give two meanings of ratqan, that have great relevance to the topic under discussion. One meaning is 'the coming together of something and the consequent infusion into a single entity' and the second meaning is 'total darkness'. Both these meanings are significantly applicable.

Hello everyone, how are you doing? I hope you are doing well, and I wanted to say Jezakumullah to those who have contacted me to inquire about my whereabouts and to make dua for me, especially my sisters. Allah bless you all.

Yesterday, I discovered some astounding facts about our Prophet (PBUH) in the Quran, and I was astounded and amazed by this discovery.

"Indeed it is the word of Allah".

Our lord says in surah An-Nisa:-

أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ ۚ وَلَوْ كَانَ مِنْ عِندِ غَيْرِ ٱللَّهِ لَوَجَدُوا۟ فِيهِ ٱخْتِلَـٰفًۭا كَثِيرًۭا ٨٢

"Do they not then reflect on the Quran? Had it been from anyone other than Allah, they would have certainly found in it many inconsistencies."

We all recognize that we did not treat the Quran with the respect it deserves, therefore I hope that me and you will get closer to the holy book of Allah.

Let us return to our topic, which was raised in Egypt by our brother Dr. Abdul Daim Al Keeni.

We know that the last Surah that was revealed was Surah An-Nasr at the age of 63, and even the companies of the Prophet (PBUH) believe that this was a sign of our Prophet's (PBUH) death, and Our Prophet (PBUH) died at the age of 63. Our brother did some research on the following term:-

مُّحَمَّدٌۭ رَّسُولُ ٱللَّهِ ۚ

And this sentence has a total of 12 letters; our brother counts these 12 letters in every surah of the Quran, and the only surah with a total of 63 letters is An-Nesr, the last surah revealed to our beloved Prophet (PBUH).

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙨𝙢𝙤𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙗𝙨𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙮 𝙌𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙣 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙙. 𝙒𝙚 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 ˹𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩˺ 𝙢𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙒𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 ˹𝙞𝙩˺.

Do the disbelievers not realize that the heavens and earth were ˹once˺ one mass then We split them apart? And We created from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?

In this verse the words ratqan (closed-up mass), and fataqna (We clove them asunder), carry the basic message of the whole verse. Authentic Arabic lexicons3 give two meanings of ratqan, that have great relevance to the topic under discussion. One meaning is 'the coming together of something and the consequent infusion into a single entity' and the second meaning is 'total darkness'. Both these meanings are significantly applicable.

so we have a day and a one thousand year, how can we make them equal?
And what is the common factor?Scientists consider the speed of light is a distinguished speed and there is no object can be able to reach that speed. So whenever the speed of an object increases therefore the time for that object will slow down. Therefore if any object reached the speed of light, the time will stop for that object. that is the summary of Theory of relativity.

2. Speed of light
Allah be He blessed says: (we yewumen ende rebika ke alfi senetin mima teoodun) (And verily, a day with your Lord is as a thousand years of what you reckon) (Sûrat Al-Hajj- verse 47).

In 1969, and during their trip to the moon the astronauts put a glass mirrors on the surface of the moon and scientists on earth sent a Laser beam to be reflected on these mirrors to back again to the earth . By that they calculated the precise distance between earth and moon.If we observe the moon from outside the solar system , we can see that moon is revolving a complete round around earth every 27.3 day , but because earth revolves around itself so we see the moon is completing the round every 29.5 day .
The moon revolves around earth a complete round every month, but because earth is also revolving around itself and in the same direction so that we see the month is 29.5 day but in fact it only takes 27.3days for the moon to complete the round. The question is what isthe traveled distance by the moonaround earth in 1000 year?
