ሰላም የጌታ ቤተሰቦች! ዛሬ እጅግ ጥልቅ፣ ሰፊ እና መንፈሳዊ አቅማችንን ወደ አዲስ ከፍታ የሚያወጣውን የቃሉን ማዕድ ይዘን ቀርበናል።
በቤተክርስቲያን ትምህርታችን ያተኮረው በዘጸአት 28 ላይ በተጻፈው፣ የብሉይ ኪዳን ሊቀ ካህናት (High Priest) በሚለብሰው እጅግ ክቡር፣ ሚስጥራዊ እና አስደናቂ ልብስ—በተለይም ስለ "ኤፉድ" (The Ephod) ነበር።
በመጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ውስጥ እግዚአብሔር ለሙሴ ይህንን ልብስ እንዲሰራ ሲያዘው፣ "ለክብርና ለውበት" (ዘጸ 28፡2) እንዲሆን ነው አለው። ኤፉድ ዝም ብሎ ያማረ የጨርቅ ስፌት አልነበረም፤ እያንዳንዱ ክር፣ እያንዳንዱ ቀለም፣ እና እያንዳንዱ የከበረ ድንጋይ የጌታችንን የኢየሱስ ክርስቶስን ማንነት፣ አዳኝነት፣ እና ፍጹም ሊቀ-ካህንነት የሚሰብክ ታላቅ የትንቢት መስተዋት (Prophetic Typology) ነው!
ይህንን መንፈሳዊ አቅም የሚገነባ እና እንባ የሚያመጣ እውነት፣ ጊዜ ወስዳችሁ በጥልቀት አንብቡት፡ 👇
1. የኤፉዱ አስደናቂ ውህደት (The Canvas of the Incarnation)
ኤፉድ ሊቀ ካህናቱ ከሰማያዊው ቀሚስ ላይ የሚለብሰው፣ እጅጌ የሌለው እና ከፊትና ከኋላ የሚደረብ የክብር ልብስ ነው። ይህ ልብስ የተሠራው ከአምስት ዓይነት የተለያዩ ቁሶች ነበር፤ አምስቱም የክርስቶስን ተፈጥሮ ይገልጻሉ፡
* ሀ. የወርቅ ክር (Gold): ወርቅ የመለኮታዊነት፣ የክብር እና የአምላክነት (Deity) ምልክት ነው። የሚገርመው በዘጸአት 39፡3 ላይ፣ ይህንን የወርቅ ክር ለማግኘት "ወርቁንም ቀጥቅጠው ስስ አድርገው... ይፈትሉት ዘንድ ፈትል አድርገው ቆረጡት" ይላል። መለኮት የሆነው ጌታችን በሥጋ ሲገለጥ፣ ስለ እኛ መከራን መቀበሉን እና "መቀጥቀጡን" ያሳያል!
* ለ. ሰማያዊ (Blue): ሰማያዊ የሰማይ ቀለም ነው። ክርስቶስ ከምድር ሳይሆን ከሰማይ የመጣ፣ "ከሰማይ የወረደው የሰው ልጅ" መሆኑን ያውጃል (ዮሐ 3፡13)።
* ሐ. ሐምራዊ (Purple): ሐምራዊ በጥንቱ ዓለም የነገሥታት እና የባለጸጎች ቀለም ነበር። ክርስቶስ የነገሥታት ንጉሥ፣ የጌቶችም ጌታ መሆኑን ያሳያል። (ሐምራዊ ቀለም የሚገኘው ሰማያዊውን እና ቀዩን ቀለም በማዋሃድ ነው፤ የክርስቶስ ሰማያዊነት እና የደሙ ቀይነት ሲዋሃድ የነገሥታት ንጉሥነቱን አወጣ!)
* መ. ቀይ ግምጃ (Scarlet): ይህ መስዋዕትነትን፣ መከራን እና በቀራንዮ መስቀል ላይ ስለ እኛ የፈሰሰውን የክርስቶስን ውድ ደም ያሳያል።
* ሠ. ከተፈተለ ጥሩ ሻሽ/ነጭ ከታን (Fine Twined Linen): ነጭ ልብስ የክርስቶስን ፍጹም ጻድቅነት፣ ቅድስና እና ነውር የሌለበትን ንጹህ ሰብዓዊ ተፈጥሮ (Sinless Humanity) ያሳያል።
✨ ታላቁ ሚስጥር፡ እነዚህ ሁሉ ክሮች በአንድ ላይ በጥበብ ተፈትለው ኤፉዱን ሠሩ። የወርቁ ክር (አምላክነቱ) ከሌሎቹ ክሮች (ሰው መሆኑ) ጋር በማይነጣጠል ሁኔታ ተዋህዶ ነበር። ይህ የሚያሳየን ክርስቶስ ፍጹም አምላክ እና ፍጹም ሰው (Fully God and Fully Man) መሆኑን፣ መለኮትና ትስጉት (Incarnation) በአንድ አካል መዋሃዳቸውን ነው!
2. በትከሻ ላይ ያሉት ድንጋዮች፡ የክርስቶስ ኃይል (The Onyx Stones of Power)
በኤፉዱ ሁለቱ ትከሻዎች ላይ ሁለት ታላላቅ የመረግድ ድንጋዮች (Onyx Stones) ነበሩ። በእነዚህ ድንጋዮች ላይ የ12ቱ የእስራኤል ነገድ ስሞች እንደ ትውልዳቸው ቅደም ተከተል ተቀርጸውባቸው ነበር (በአንዱ ላይ 6፣ በሌላው ላይ 6) (ዘጸ 28፡9-12)።
* የኃይል እና የጥበቃ ሚስጥር፡ በመጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ውስጥ "ትከሻ" የኃይል፣ የብርታት እና የሸክም መሸከሚያ ምሳሌ ነው (ኢሳይያስ 9፡6 "አለቅነትም በትከሻው ላይ ይሆናል" ይላል)።
* መልካሙ እረኛ፡ ጌታ በሉቃስ 15 ላይ የጠፋችውን በግ ሲያገኛት "በደስታ በትከሻው ተሸክሞ" ይመለሳል።
* ሊቀ ካህናቱ ወደ መቅደሱ ሲገባ የሕዝቡን ስም በትከሻው ላይ ተሸክሞ ይገባል። ዛሬም የዘላለም ሊቀ ካህናችን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ፣ እያንዳንዳችንን (ቤተክርስቲያንን) በማያልቀው ኃይሉ፣ ብርታቱ እና ችሎታው (Omnipotence) በትከሻው ላይ ተሸክሞን በእግዚአብሔር አብ ፊት ቆሟል! ሸክምህን የተሸከመው እርሱ ነው! በክርስቶስ ትከሻ ላይ ያለን ማንም ሊጥለን አይችልም!
3. ከትከሻ ወደ ልብ፡ የከበሩ ድንጋዮች ሚስጥር (The Breastplate of Judgment)
ከኤፉዱ ጋር በማይነጣጠል ሁኔታ በወርቅ ሰንሰለት እና በሰማያዊ ክር የሚታሰር "የፍርድ ኪስ" (Breastplate) ነበረ (ዘጸ 28፡28)። በዚህም ላይ 12 የተለያዩ የከበሩ ድንጋዮች (እንደ አልማዝ፣ ቶጳዝዮን፣ መረግድ ያሉ) ነበሩበት። እያንዳንዱ ድንጋይ ላይ የአንድ ነገድ ስም ተጽፎበታል። ሊቀ ካህናቱ ይህንን የሚለብሰው ደግሞ በልቡ ላይ ነው (ዘጸ 28፡29)!
* የግል ማንነትህ (Individuality): በትከሻው ላይ ያሉት ድንጋዮች (መረግድ) ሁሉም አንድ ዓይነት ነበሩ፤ በልቡ ላይ ያሉት 12 ድንጋዮች ግን የተለያዩ ናቸው! ይህ ማለት ክርስቶስ ሕዝቡን በጅምላ ብቻ ሳይሆን የሚያየው፣ እያንዳንዳችንን በተለየ ዋጋ፣ በተለየ ውበት (እንደተለያየ የከበረ ድንጋይ) ያየናል! አንተ ለእርሱ እጅግ ውድ እና ልዩ ነህ!
* ትከሻ እና ልብ (Power and Love): ይህ እጅግ የሚያስለቅስ እና የሚያስደነግጥ እውነት አለው! ክርስቶስ እኛን የተሸከመን በትከሻው (በኃይሉ/In His Power) ብቻ አይደለም፤ ነገር ግን በልቡም (በፍቅሩና በርኅራኄው/In His Love) ጭምር እንጂ!
* ኃይል ብቻ ኖሮት ፍቅር ባይኖረው ኖሮ፣ ስንበድለው ከትከሻው ላይ አሽቀንጥሮ ይጥለን ነበር። ፍቅር ብቻ ኖሮት ኃይል ባይኖረው ኖሮ ደግሞ እኛን ከዲያብሎስ እጅ ሊያድነን ባልቻለም ነበር። ነገር ግን ታላቁ ሊቀ ካህናችን፣ በኃይሉ (በትከሻው) ጠብቆ፣ በፍቅሩ (በልቡ) አቅፎ ይዞናል! ሰማያዊው ክር ኤፉዱንና የፍርድ ኪሱን እንደሚያስተሳስረው፣ የክርስቶስ ፍቅርና ኃይል ለዘላለም የተሳሰሩ ናቸው!
4. መታጠቂያው፡ የአገልጋይነት ዝግጁነት (The Skillfully Woven Band)
ኤፉዱ ወገብ ላይ የሚታሰር "የተጠበበ መታጠቂያ" (Woven waistband) ነበረው። ይህ መታጠቂያ ተለይቶ የተሰፋ ሳይሆን፣ ከኤፉዱ ጋር አንድ ወጥ ሆኖ (Of the same piece) የተሰራ ነው (ዘጸ 28፡8)።
* በመጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ባህል መታጠቅ የخدمት (የአገልጋይነት) ምልክት ነው። የክርስቶስ አገልጋይነት እንደ እኛ ድንገት የመጣ ሳይሆን፣ ከባህርዩ ጋር አንድ ወጥ የሆነ (Inherent to His nature) ነው!
* ጌታችን ኢየሱስ የጌቶች ጌታ፣ የነገሥታት ንጉሥ (ሐምራዊ) ሆኖ ሳለ፣ ወገቡን ታጥቆ የደቀመዛሙርቱን እግር እንዳጠበ (ዮሐ 13)፣ ዛሬም እኛን ለማገልገል እና በእግዚአብሔር ቀኝ ሊማልድልን ለዘላለም የተዘጋጀ አገልጋይ ካህናችን ነው!
📌 የዛሬው የሕይወት ትግበራችን፡
ስምህ/ስምሽ በሊቀ ካህናቱ በክርስቶስ ትከሻና ልብ ላይ ተቀርጿል! በህይወትህ ማዕበል ሲበዛ፣ የኑሮ ጫና ሲበረታ፣ እና "እግዚአብሔር ትቶኛል፣ እጄን ለቆኛል" ብለህ ስትፈራ፣ የኤፉዱን ሚስጥር አስታውስ! አንተ በክርስቶስ ጠንካራ ትከሻ ላይ ያረፍክ፣ በልቡም ላይ በፍቅር የታተምክ የከበርክ ድንጋይ ነህ። መለኮትነቱንና ሰብዓዊነቱን አዋህዶ፣ በደሙ ገዝቶ ወደ እግዚአብሔር ፊት ያቀረበህ ፍጹም አማላጅ አለህ!

Greetings, family of the Lord! Today, we had a profoundly deep, extensive, and spiritually uplifting time in the Word that elevates our spiritual capacity to new heights.
Our church teaching focused on Exodus 28, exploring the glorious, mysterious, and awe-inspiring garments worn by the High Priest of the Old Testament—specifically the "Ephod".
When God commanded Moses to make these garments, He said they were to be "for glory and for beauty" (Exodus 28:2). The Ephod wasn't just a beautiful piece of ancient fashion; every single thread, every vibrant color, and every precious stone is a massive prophetic mirror (Typology) preaching the identity, saving grace, and perfect High Priesthood of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Take a moment to deeply read and absorb this tear-jerking, spiritually enriching truth: 👇
1. The Marvelous Canvas of the Incarnation
The Ephod was a sleeveless outer garment worn over the High Priest's blue robe. It was crafted from five distinct materials, and all five powerfully describe the nature of Christ:
Gold Thread (Deity): Gold is the universal symbol of divine glory and deity. Amazingly, Exodus 39:3 says, "They beat the gold into thin plates and cut it into threads, to work it in..." Our Lord, who is fully God, took on flesh and was "crushed" and beaten for us to become our Savior!
Blue (Heavenly Origin): Blue is the color of the sky. It declares that Christ did not originate from the dust of the earth, but He is "the Son of Man who came down from heaven" (John 3:13).
Purple (Royalty): In the ancient world, purple was strictly the color of kings and the wealthy. It points to Christ as the King of Kings! (Fascinatingly, purple is made by blending blue and red—when His heavenly nature and His shed blood united, His ultimate Kingship was revealed!)
Scarlet/Red (Sacrifice): This vividly represents His suffering, His sacrifice, and the precious blood He poured out for us on the cross of Calvary.
Fine Twined Linen (Purity): White linen represents the flawless righteousness, holiness, and sinless humanity of Jesus.
✨ The Great Mystery: All these threads were skillfully woven together into one fabric. The gold thread (His Deity) was inseparably intertwined with the other threads (His Humanity). This paints a perfect picture of the Incarnation: Christ is Fully God and Fully Man, seamlessly united in one glorious person!
2. The Stones on the Shoulders: The Power of Christ
On the two shoulder pieces of the Ephod were two massive Onyx stones. Engraved on these stones were the names of the 12 tribes of Israel according to their birth order (6 on one shoulder, 6 on the other) (Exodus 28:9-12).
The Secret of Power and Protection: In biblical terminology, the "shoulder" is the ultimate symbol of power, strength, and bearing heavy burdens (Isaiah 9:6 says, "the government will rest on His shoulders").
The Good Shepherd: In Luke 15, when the Lord finds His lost sheep, He joyfully lays it "on His shoulders."
Whenever the High Priest entered the sanctuary, he literally carried the names of the people on his shoulders. Today, our Eternal High Priest, Jesus Christ, carries each of us (His Church) into the presence of God the Father using His infinite omnipotence! He is bearing your burden! Once you are on the strong shoulders of Christ, no demon in hell can sn**ch you away!
3. From Shoulder to Heart: The Breastplate of Judgment
Inseparably bound to the Ephod with golden chains and a blue cord was the "Breastplate of Judgment" (Exodus 28:28). On this breastplate were 12 distinctly different precious stones (like diamond, topaz, emerald, amethyst). Each stone bore the name of one tribe. And the High Priest wore this directly over his heart! (Exodus 28:29).
Your Unique Individuality: The stones on the shoulders (Onyx) were all identical; but the 12 stones over the heart were all completely different! This means Christ doesn't just see the Church as a generic, uniform crowd. He sees you individually, with distinct value, unique beauty, and specific worth (like a unique precious stone)! You are highly prized by Him!
Power and Love Combined: This is a staggering truth! Christ doesn't just carry us on His shoulders (In His Power); He also carries us right over His heart (In His Boundless Love and Compassion)!
If He only had power but lacked love, He might have thrown us off His shoulders the moment we failed Him. If He only had love but lacked power, He wouldn't have been able to rescue us from the grip of the enemy. But our Great High Priest holds us secure with His absolute Power (the shoulders) and embraces us with His unfailing Love (the heart)! Just as the blue cord permanently bound the breastplate to the Ephod, Christ's power and love are eternally tied together for your sake!
4. The Waistband: The Readiness of a Servant
The Ephod had a "skillfully woven band" tied around the waist. This waistband was not a separate piece of cloth sewn on later; the Bible specifies it was "of the same piece" and workmanship as the Ephod itself (Exodus 28:8).
In biblical culture, girding the waist is the ultimate posture of a servant. The fact that the band was woven into the very fabric of the Ephod means that Christ's servanthood is not an afterthought or an act He puts on—it is inherent to His very nature!
Even though our Lord Jesus is the King of Kings (Purple), He willingly girded Himself with a towel and washed His disciples' dirty feet (John 13). Today, He remains our Servant-Priest, forever ready, forever interceding, and forever serving us at the right hand of the Father!

Your name is permanently engraved on the strong shoulders and the loving heart of your High Priest, Jesus Christ! When the storms of life hit hard, when the pressures of survival overwhelm you, and you begin to fear, "God has forsaken me; He has let go of my hand"—remember the mystery of the Ephod! You are resting on Christ's indestructible shoulders, and you are a precious stone sealed in love over His heart. You have a perfect Mediator who united Deity and Humanity, purchased you with His blood, and confidently presents you before God!
