Coming Together as a Church to Help Our Dear Sister Margaret🙏🏼
As mentioned by Pastor Bill last Sunday, we will be taking up a love offering to help our dear sister Margaret during these difficult times.
Margaret's daughter, Jade, has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
At some time Margaret will have to return to the UK to be with her daughter, to love and care for her, and to minister to her throughout this challenging season.
The Bible calls us to show love to others, stand alongside those in need, and give generously to support those facing hardship—reflecting the love, compassion, and righteousness of God in our lives (Luke 11:41).
As a church family, we should stand with Margaret and support her during this time. Deuteronomy 15:7–8 reminds us not to harden our hearts or close our hands to those in need. Instead, we should prayerfully examine our hearts and allow Christ's love within us to move us to give generously.
For this reason, Tenerife Family Church will be receiving anonymous offerings over the next few services, or at any time you wish to give, to support Margaret as she stands beside her daughter Jade and demonstrates the love of Christ during this difficult journey.
✝️
If you would like to give during a Sunday service, you may place your offering in an envelope marked "Margaret." You may also give by card, indicating that your donation is for Margaret's support, or you can send a private message to Stuart Carter for bank transfer details.
On behalf of Tenerife Family Church, we would like to thank everyone for being such a loving, caring, and generous church family.
