St. John the Baptist, June 24.
Through the intercession of our Patron, Saint John the Baptist, we pray for all those, who, in the name of the Order, bring help to the afflicted and mercifully assist their brethren in sickness, hunger, poverty, and ignorance: that God may always enlighten them, protect them, console them in adversity and grant that their works of charity may bear much fruit in his sight.
Collect
God our Father, you raised up John the Baptist to prepare a perfect people for Christ the Lord.
Give your Church joy in spirit and guide those who believe in you into the way of salvation and peace.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ your Son, Who lives and reigns with you and
the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.

A rare image of male and female solemnly professed Members of our Order together, taken at the shrine of Our Lady at Lourdes during our pilgrimage earlier this month. Both wear the unique mark of the solemnly professed, the stola which depicts the symbols of the Passion of our Lord.

El 13 de octubre las Monjas Comendadoras recuerdan al Beato Gerardo, fundador de la Orden Hospitalaria de San Juan de Jerusalén, y de Malta.
El epitafio con el que se le recuerda describe a las virtudes de este hombre:
Tum temporis Girardus Hospitalarius Hierusalem obiit, cuius est hoc epitaphium:
Girardus jacet hic, vir humilissimus inter Eoos
Pauperibus servus et pius hospitibus;
Vilis in aspectu, sed ei cor nobile fulsit.
Paret in his laribus quam probus exsisterit.
Providus in multis facienda decenter agebat,

On 8th September the Nuns Comendadoras remember the Birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary, venerated in the Order under the title of “Our Lady of Philerme”, Patroness of the Order.
Collect
Our Lady of Philerme, for over seven hundred years you have protected our Order, often against great odds and in the bleakest of conditions.
Beloved Patroness, we pray you continue to guard and guide our Order in the fulfillment of its work for the poor and the sick, and for peace, still often carried out against opposition and in dangerous conditions.
Amen.

As he gave his life in witness to truth and justice, so may we strive to profess our faith in your Gospel.

This year, 2023, the Poste Magistrali - Ordine di Malta of the Order of Malta issued some stamps with the theme: Santa Toscana, here you can see some of them
