Happy Wednesday Revive Family!

It’s the start of summer, which usually comes with a break for kids ministry... but our kids min team would just miss the kids too much for that! 🤣

The new summer routine will be:
• kids sit service with parents the first Sunday of the month.
• The family services will be communion Sundays.
• We WILL have nursery available every Sunday, including during the family services.
• The grade school kids are combined for the summer, so they will worship with parents and then be dismissed to the classrooms.

Reminder: We will not have service at the Chruch tomorrow morning!

Instead, join us at the Duck Pond in Rota for a time of fellowship, testimony, and just enjoying our church family!
Bring a chair, let the kids play, and let's enjoy the morning together!

Good afternoon revive fam! We wanted to put out the announcements for this week so all are tracking!

1. Wednesday Bible Study will be off this week. We ask that you use this time to focus on your first ministry of connecting with your family. For those with children, please take the time to discuss all the things they learned at retreat this weekend!
2. ⁠Men’s Bible study will be at the church this Thursday at 1800!
3. ⁠Praise and Worship seminar is this Saturday at the chapel
4. ⁠Lastly, Sunday service will be moved to the Rota Duck pond for an opportunity to fellowship with one another!

Today, take a moment to honor those brave men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

After all, they embody the words of Jesus.

John 15:13
New King James Version
13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

Because of their sacrifice we have the freedoms we enjoy today. Just like we have the free gift of salvation because of the sacrifice Jesus made in laying down His life to pay the sin debt that we were owed, but could never pay on our own.

Ask yourself how you can honor them today...
I often do the "MURPH" workout to honor their sacrifice, as it is a hero workout that honors LT Michael Murphy (U.S. Navy Seal) who sacrificed his life to save his team. That workout puts me in a place where I have a choice... to quit or finish. I never quit, because I know those brave men and women had a choice as well, and they chose to finish, lay their lives down, sacrifice, and saved lives in that act of love.

Day 2 of spring retreat! I’M EXCITED and I know you are EXCITED too!!! Breakout sessions start at 0900 and evening service starts at 1900! Classrooms open for kids at 0845 and 1845 today! See you there!
