Hello everyone. As we head into 2026 we are updating how we keep in touch with our extended church family, both here in Mallorca and in other parts of the world. Our new page is
Anglican Chaplaincy of St. Andrew’s Church, Puerto Pollensa, Mallorca
from 1st January this is the only one we will be posting on, do continue to follow us!
We also have pages on Instagram and X ( formerly Twitter) As Revd. Sara is new to these forms of Social Media, bear with us if things are a little slow to start with!
We continue to have a webpage but also keep our Church of England’ A Church Near You, St Andrew’s Puerto Pollensa’ page up to date as this is the way most people find out about a specific church and when its services are. We will be expanding the information we post on ‘A Church Near You’. Do feel free to comment via Social Media, the aim is to reach as many people as possible and extend our welcome to join us. Best wishes for 2026, our 40th Anniversary, Revd. Sara

Christmas ends, Jesus does not.

The birth of Christ was one of the most celebrated events this past week, with a billion or more people across the globe rejoicing in God's precious Gift.

But the birth of Jesus is only the beginning. We read in the Bible that Jesus would grow up as a child, as a teenager, as a young adult, and then ultimately begin His earthly ministry in His 30s. Just as prophesied in the Old Testament, He would heal the sick, give sight the blind, and preach sermons of righteousness.

But the biggest thing Jesus ever did, was give freely give His life on a cross for the forgiveness of sins. Through that unconditional act of love, we can be washed clean and adopted into the family of God. We are a new creation, indwelled by the Holy Spirit, and walk in the light. We give testimony to the world of what God has done for us, and what He can do for everyone who is willing to hear.

Jesus came to this earth to be born in a lowly manger, and we rejoice daily in this. But He didn't stay a baby. He lived, He died, and He rose again from the grave so that we can have life in His name. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and deserves honor from us all 365 days of the year. The Christmas season is over, but we can still walk with the Savior each day.
