Hearing God’s Word is important, but obedience is what gives it a foundation in our lives. When storms come, a life built on God’s truth can remain standing because its foundation is not feelings or circumstances, but Jesus. Build your life on the Rock by living out what God teaches you.

Jesus reminds us that it’s easy to notice someone else’s faults while overlooking our own. Before pointing out the “speck” in another person, we need to honestly examine our own hearts and allow God to deal with what needs to change in us.

In our life there are problems , threats and trials along the way but we will not be frightened knowing that God is there for us , we can always say “I AM DOING A GREAT WORK AND I CANNOT COME DOWN “

Last Sunday Pstr. Marj Laureta shared with us about the life of Nehemiah, where he was tasked with rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem.
There she told us that despite the deceptions and threats that Nehemiah received, he did not falter in doing the work that he was given.

Sometimes we as followers of Christ are faced with challenges and distractions that stop us from doing what we were set to do.
However, that should not stop us, just like how Nehemiah wasn't stopped by the challenges that he had faced.

Know that in our journey God is with us, and all challenges we face can be conquered. Have faith and continue to do the work that we were given.

Nehemiah 6:3
And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?

Jerusalem had experienced destruction, but God promised to return with mercy and rebuild what had been ruined. His discipline was not the end of the story; restoration was still part of His plan.

Sometimes we look at what is broken and wonder if it can ever be restored. But God’s mercy gives us hope. What seems ruined is not beyond God’s ability to rebuild. Trust His timing, return to Him, and let Him restore what has been lost.
