Next Sunday: FROM PRISON TO PULPIT

At STCF we welcome Eddie Muirson

Eddie’s criminal life began at just nine years old. Between fourteen and twenty-nine, he spent eleven years behind bars for assault, theft and robbery.

But prison wasn’t the end of Eddie’s story.

At his lowest point, a Christian minister visited his cell with a message of forgiveness and a new beginning through Jesus Christ. Eddie believed—and his life was transformed.

The prisoner became a preacher. The man once behind bars now stands behind a pulpit, telling others about the Jesus who set him free.

From prison to pulpit—Eddie’s life is living proof that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace.

We thank God for a wonderful morning of worship and fellowship. There was a real sense of the Lord’s presence among us this morning and we rejoice that new people are joining us and that lives are being touched and changed.

Let us not take this for granted but continue to pray that this movement of God will deepen and that Christ will be glorified in all we do.

A wee update from the kids camps…

Hi from Tenerife North! We just wanted to send out a quick message to those of you who pray for us.

Today we begin our kids camp which lasts until next Saturday. We usually have around 40 kids but this year we have been pleasantly surprised to have 70 kids inscribed! We feel a bit nervous because we haven’t had so many kids in years and we’ve had to change quite a lot of the dynamics into smaller groups.

We are very excited to have kids that we don’t know with us, some of them are from non-Christian backgrounds and some from other islands.

Some prayer points:
- Pray that God would fill us with His strength to carry out all the activities we’ve planned
- Pray that those children who don’t know Jesus personally would hear the Good News loud and clear and that they would give their lives to Him.
- That the kids who know Jesus would be built up in their faith and go back into their churches and communities carrying the light of Christ.

God has given us an amazing summer so far with the Northern Ireland team who came in July. Some of the unsaved kids are coming to the camp because of the outreach we did with them. God is so good!

Some of us are coming from youth camp which was a week ago and although we’re excited and prepared, we can be spiritually tired, please pray that we would remember this promise:
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Thank you for being present with us in prayer. We are so grateful for you all. 🥰🙏🏻
