The Salvation of Our Lord Jesus Christ
The salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ is God's plan to save humanity from sin, condemnation, and eternal separation from God, through faith in Jesus Christ.
1. Jesus is the source of salvation
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” — Acts 4:12
2. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.” — Ephesians 2:8
3. We must repent and believe
Jesus calls people to turn away from sin and believe the Gospel.
“Repent ye, and believe the gospel.” — Mark 1:15
4. Confess Jesus as Lord
“If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” — Romans 10:9
5. Salvation brings eternal life
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life.” — John 3:36
In simple words
Salvation is being forgiven of our sins, reconciled to God, and given eternal life through Jesus Christ. It is not earned by human works; it is received by God's grace through genuine faith, repentance, and trust in Christ.
