Spain on the Pendulum of Inconsistency
A few weeks ago, the glory of winning the World Cup in front of millions of people
But shortly afterward, a Moroccan crowd of tens of thousands invaded Spanish territory, and what we witnessed was nothing less than the humiliation of the Spanish people at the hands of their own authorities.
Which is the real Spain: the one that excels in sports, the one with families who uphold values, send their children to school, and instill in them discipline, a spirit of initiative, and a sense of responsibility—or the one that is completely polarized and is now crashing into a wall due to its passivity, on the one hand, or its reckless political decisions, on the other?
Both. A nation—or so-called nation—that had a certain religious foundation at its core, evidently insufficient despite the adoption of Northern European values, is today a society that has not found the stability and order that could lead it toward a vision of peace and prosperity rooted in justice.
Is there still time for change? Some ask.
Do we really have to ask ourselves that?

Hace unas semanas, la gloria de ganar el Mundial ante millones de personas
Pero poco después, una multitud marroquí de decenas de miles de personas invade el territorio español, y lo que se ve no es otra cosa que la humillación del pueblo español a manos de sus propias autoridades.
¿Cuál es la verdadera España: la que destaca en el deporte, la de las familias que defienden valores, envían a sus hijos a estudiar y les inculcan disciplina, espíritu de iniciativa y sentido de la responsabilidad, o la que está completamente polarizada y ahora se está estrellando contra el muro por su pasividad, por un lado, o por sus descabelladas decisiones políticas, por otro?
Ambas. Una nación —o supuesta nación— que tuvo cierta matriz religiosa en sus cimientos, evidentemente insuficiente a pesar de la adopción de valores europeos del norte de Europa, es hoy una sociedad que no ha encontrado la estabilidad y el orden que puedan conducirla a una visión de paz y prosperidad en la justicia.
¿Hay tiempo para un cambio? Se preguntan algunos.
