Since March this year, Scientologists from around the world have changed gears into higher speed to move forward their campaigns not only in Europe but around the world, with even more special actions in the United States and South Africa.
While Scientologists proud themselves of not being necessarily soft on pushing their humanitarian campaigns, the global situation has gotten them to push even further, to a point that their efforts have not been unnoticed by internationally renown experts.
Rosita Šorytė, is a Lithuanian and international expert who has a long experience on the problems of humanitarian aid delivered in time of crisis by both governments and international organizations, and NGOs, and has studied in particular how religion-based NGOs operate.
In this sense, Soyte decided to explore Scientology’s response to COVID-19 situation, and has published her latest book entitled “We Can Lift This World While Quarantined”: Scientology and the 2020 Pandemic (FoRB.PRESS).
Soryte chose this quote from a Scientology song that was produced specifically to “spread a smile” in the time of the pandemic.
