Father’s Day Godwill Message to OCBA Fathers
Theme: Responsible Men
1 Timothy 5:8, Ephesians 6:4, Colossians 3:19
Beloved in Christ,
On this special day set aside to honor fathers and father figures, we gather with gratitude in our hearts to celebrate responsible men — those who reflect the love, wisdom, and strength of our Heavenly Father.
In 1 Timothy 5:8, the Word of God states:
“But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”
This reminds us that responsibility begins at home — through provision, protection, and presence. A responsible man takes care of his family not only materially, but spiritually and emotionally as well.
Ephesians 6:4 exhorts fathers:
“And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.”
True fatherhood is not rooted in control or fear, but in godly instruction, love, and example. Responsible men raise children who know the Lord and walk in His ways.
And in Colossians 3:19, we are reminded:
“Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.”
A responsible man is a loving husband — one who values and honors his wife, reflecting Christ’s love in his marriage.
Today, we salute all fathers who live out these biblical values — not perfectly, but faithfully. In a world that desperately needs godly examples, you stand as beacons of hope, courage, and character.
To every man walking in the path of responsibility, we say: Thank you. May God bless you richly, guide you daily, and empower you continually.
Happy Father’s Day!
God bless all responsible men of OCBA fa. mily.
