Without repentance, my beloved, we may feel that Christ is risen, but we ourselves have not risen… So what is the benefit?…
Knowing that He who raised Jesus will also raise us with Jesus…
May the Lord grant us, beloved, a resurrection like the Samaritan woman… a transformation like hers… That we may know the living water and receive from it our fulfillment and joy… And be transformed from sinners into witnesses… Proclaiming His death and confessing His Resurrection… and remembering Him until He comes… May the Lord complete what is lacking in us and strengthen every weakness within us by His grace…

to heal the wounds of the disciples,
for they did not believe in His Resurrection when He appeared to them
and thought Him to be a ghost.
So He showed them His hands and His side…
as if He were saying:
Although His wounds were healed,
their marks remained!
For He judged that it was beneficial for the disciples
to retain the marks of His wounds
so that He might heal the wounds of their souls—
the wounds of their unbelief.
For He appeared before their eyes and showed them His true body,
yet they still thought Him to be a spirit."
