📢 نداء عاجل إلى سيادة رئيس الجمهورية
نتوجه إلى سيادتكم بنداء عاجل لحماية كنيسة السيدة العذراء بالمعادي، إحدى أهم المحطات في مسار العائلة المقدسة، ومَعلم ديني وتاريخي عالمي.
رغم وجود اتفاق رسمي بين الدولة والكنيسة لتطوير المنطقة، فوجئنا بتجاوزات من بعض الجهات التنفيذية شملت:
• الاعتداء على أرض ملاصقة للكنيسة دون تنسيق.
• قطع أشجار وهدم سور ليلاً دون إعلان رسمي.
• تجاهل للاتفاق الموقّع واستهانة بالمكانة الدينية للموقع.
هذه التصرفات تهدد مصداقية الدولة وتثير استياءً شعبياً، رغم التعاون الكامل الذي قدمته الكنيسة سابقًا في دعم مشروعات الدولة.
نناشد سيادتكم التدخل الفوري لوقف هذه الممارسات، والتحقيق في ملابساتها، حفاظًا على تراث مصر الديني واحترامًا للاتفاقات الرسمية.

📢 Urgent Appeal to His Excellency the President of the Republic
We respectfully raise this urgent appeal to Your Excellency to protect the Virgin Mary Church in Maadi, one of the most significant stations along the Holy Family Trail, and a globally recognized religious and historical landmark.
Despite an official agreement between the state and the Church to develop the area in cooperation, we were shocked by recent violations by certain executive bodies, including:
• Encroachment on land adjacent to the Church without coordination.
• Trees being cut and the Church’s surrounding wall demolished at night without any formal notice.
• Disregard for the signed agreement and disrespect for the sacred nature of the site.
These actions not only undermine the credibility of the state, but have also caused public outrage — especially given the Church’s longstanding cooperation and support for national development projects.
We urgently call upon Your Excellency to intervene immediately to halt these actions and investigate their circumstances — in defense of Egypt’s religious heritage and in respect of formal agreements.
