قداسة البابا تواضروس الثاني يكرم المخترع الصغير مارتيروس مينا

استقبل قداسة البابا تواضروس الثاني في المقر البابوي بالقاهرة اليوم السبت، الطفل مارتيروس مينا، الحاصل على الميدالية الذهبية في مسابقة دولية للبرمجة بالصين، ووالده القس أثناسيوس سوريال كاهن كنيسة الشهيد مار جرجس بأم خنان - إيبارشية طموه، ووالدته السيدة مارتينا ثروت.
عبر قداسة البابا عن سعادته بالتميز الكبير الذي يتميز به مارتيروس في مجال البرمجة، وأثنى على حرصه على تنمية موهبته وتشجيع والديه له ودعمه بتوفير كل يحتاجه في تطوير الأجهزة الإلكترونية.
كما أشاد قداسته باهتمام المخترع الصغير بتوظيف موهبته في مجال يخدم الوطن، وذلك بعمل ربوت يقوم بدور مرشد سياحي للعمل في المتحف المصري الكبير.
وبرع مارتيروس البالغ من العمر ١٠ سنوات فقط، في مجال تصميم وبناء الروبوت، وشارك في عدد من المسابقات الدولية في الصين وإستونيا ورومانيا، حقق خلالها عددًا من الجوائز والمراكز المتقدمة، وتم تصنيفه في المسابقة الأخيرة، ضمن أفضل ٢٪ من المشاركين في المسابقة على مستوى العالم.
Today (Saturday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II received the child Martiros Mina at the Papal Residence in Cairo . Martiros is the recipient of a gold medal in an international programming competition held in China. He was accompanied by his dad Father Athanasius Sorial, priest of the Church of St. George in Om Khenan, Diocese of Tamoah, and his mom, Mrs. Martina Tharwat.
His Holiness expressed his delight at Martiros’ outstanding achievements in the field of programming and commended his dedication to developing his talent, as well as his parents’ encouragement and support in providing him with everything he needs to advance his skills in electronic device development.
Pope Tawadros also praised the young inventor’s commitment to using his talent in a way that serves his homeland. Among his projects is a robot designed to serve as a tour guide at the Grand Egyptian Museum.
At only 10 years of age, Martiros has excelled in the design and construction of robots. He has participated in several international competitions in China, Estonia, and Romania, where he received numerous awards and achieved distinguished rankings. In his most recent competition, he was ranked among the top 2% of participants worldwide.
