THE ROLE OF YOUR MOUTH/WORDS IN WORSHIP PART TWO

Revelation 5:9 And [now] they sing a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll and to break the seals that are on it, for You were slain (sacrificed), and with Your blood You purchased men unto God from every tribe and language and people and nation.

Furthermore, He is worthy to receive might(ischous), honor(time), glory(doxa), and blessing(eulogia). Ischous is power in action to carry out God's Will. Time refers to esteem/value/respect which in this case is due to Christ because He is. Doxa is tribute or public display of adoration, which is accrued to Christ. And lastly, eulogia, which is praise, should be given to Christ.

We now why statements such as "blessed be the Lord God" were made in scriptures. This is an act of worship that can proceed from ones lips. When one says that they count all things loss, it only is because they highly esteemed the Christ. This is all worship. He speaks forth these things. In Phil 1:20, Ap. Paul desired that Christ would always be magnified in his body. Christ is worthy of power, riches, wisdom, might, honor, glory, and blessing. These seven Mark completion/perfection. This implied that it is beyond doubt that He is worthy of the best that can be.

How do you pray? How do you worship? Do you run out of words to say? Do you struggle at times? Simply speak forth of how He is worthy of those seven attributes. This is how we honor Him. Its how we glorify him. By doing this, you are making thanksgiving! Daily choose to ascribe worship to the King of kings. Let this be your lifestyle. In Jesus' Name!

THE ROLE OF YOUR MOUTH/WORDS IN WORSHIP PART ONE

Hebrews 13:15 Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.

We now have an awareness that we are a kingdom of priests unto papa God. Thus do we offer several sacrifices-spiritual and physical ones. One of the spiritual ones is the sacrifice of our lips. Yes! There is a sacrifice of your lips. They are ordained for a certain purpose. From today henceforth shall you use them in accordance to the anointing that is Christ in your life. This sacrifice entiles thankfully acknowledging, confessing, and glorifying His name. What does this mean?

The name of Jesus speaks of Jesus. A number denotes what that named thing can do. A name marks limits for the named thing. It thus points to that person. In Revelation chapter 5, all creation bursts out in ascribing glory to the lamb. There are seven things that are spoken of that He is worthy of them. Let's have a look at them. He is worthy to receive all dunamis, ploutos, and sophia. Sarai needed this kind of dunamis to conceive seed. Dunamis refers to mighty works.

Ploutos refers to all kinds of riches, wealth or abundance of external possessions. Sophia is general knowledge. Christ is worthy of these as He accomplishes His purposes today. So how do we confess to His name? We simply acknowledge of such things that He is worthy of. All things are Christ's. So we simply agree and speak forth these things with our mouths. Use your lips for this ordained purpose! Choose to today!

A SONG STUDY PART THREE

Revelation 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

What a beautiful song this is! Yet full of the Word. Take notice of the order stipulated in it. First, there was slaining and the shedding of blood, by which purchase of men was made unto God. Then we were made kings and priests unto God. It's a song where there is acknowledgement that we reign. Hallelujah!!! The lamb is with seven horns and seven eyes. The number seven points to perfection. The horns represent power and strength. The eyes are for sight and knowledge. Therefore, His sight, knowledge, power, and strength are perfect. He knew the end. He accomplished at the cross to the end that we reign. It simply means that Satan has no more dominion over this world.

So who are kings? Where the Word of a king is there is power. Kings make decrees. They don't struggle or speak much. Things respond at their presence. There aren't poor kings. On the other hand, we know priests minister to both God and men. Priesthood is a family thing. It is only bestowed on those from the right lineage/blood line. So we are simply born into it. Glory to God! And so we offer spiritual sacrifices. Also, we carry the Word of God. This has always been a responsibility for the priests alone.

Our songs should be this way too. We feed on the bread so that we worship with understanding of the words we use. Lest it's not from our hearts. Create melodies and sing as you meditate on the Word of God. Sing of what He has done. Sing of the effect of His accomplishments to us ward. Enjoy communion with God.

COMMUNION WITH GOD

Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off. And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you (Genesis 22:4-5)

In our theme scripture, Abraham had to leave the servants behind to go worship. There is a place in God that gives you access to deeper graces in the spirit. However, this place does not relate with a man who is merely a servant but, he who like Abraham, is a friend of God and carries a seed, who was Isaac in this instance. However, by the testimony of Luke 8:11, the seed is the word.

The way God deals with servants is different from the way He deals with a man of faith and his seed. This is not intended to disqualify service in the kingdom but when Paul defines a higher dimension in service, he says, ‘I am a bond servant.’ A bond servant in Jewish tradition was he who having served for the required years of his servitude chose to continue as a servant in his master’s household instead of going free. It means that we are sons by nature but we serve by choice.

There are men who commune with God as servants by nature. This understanding limits them in the places of communion because at the place of the altar, they cannot understand the language of faith that ‘God will provide himself a lamb’.
