The Lord has been good to me this week. Throughout the week, I was reminded of how important the local church is. We had the opportunity to help give a church a “facelift” Graceway Baptist Church had been closed for almost 7 years. One of the local missionaries said that wasn’t the only church in the community that shut down during COVID. It’s devastating. Without the local church, how can we make disciples?

I am so thankful that our small church was able to make an impact for the Kingdom. Serving the Lord by uplifting another church. They are set to have a revival at the end of July. Please be in prayer over this church and the community.

While we were there, I had the opportunity to tour Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, as well as meet with admissions and financial aid. I did the general application in January, but I am in the process of completing the full application (transcripts, Bible knowledge exam, etc.) I am also praying for the Lords guidance in this decision and I ask that you would pray with me also!

Praising God for the opportunity to serve with my church family. We have had so much fun. We have worked so hard. Tired is an understatement, but bringing glory to the Lord makes it all worthwhile. I am so thankful to have been able to serve in Eastern Kentucky this week. Thank you Jesus 🤍🌄

Hey sweet friends!! A small update!!

Last week I was at FCA camp (it went amazingly!!) Sunday, I was helping sell Lifehouse coconut products and Mercy Jewelry at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with one of my missionary friends, Jen Kubasch. Then on Monday, our church left for a short term mission trip to the rolling hills of Pineville, KY!

I’ve had the pleasure to spend time with some pretty awesome people, make lifelong memories, and all of this to bring glory to the God over it all! We will be in Pineville until Friday. Please be praying over us as we continue our trip! We are helping repair a church that has not been operating since Covid almost 7 years ago. Thankfully, God has opened doors for us, as well as other teams and missionaries, to help restore it and make it a place for people to come hear the Gospel!

God is so good. Often times we think missions is only for overseas, but if you take a look around, your mission field is right where you are. Your homes, your workplaces, you communities, your churches, your state, your country! Pray for the Lord to reveal areas around you where you can start serving!

God calls us to make disciples. What are you waiting for???? Thank you for reading! When our trip is over, I’ll be posting some more pictures! Thank you Jesus!

Praising God for the mighty work He did today in the lives of these girls! I am so thankful to have been a part of it! In the small group I am leading (4 dancers, 9 basketball players), 4 of my girls surrendered their lives to the Lord. There were so many more professions of faith throughout the other groups also which I think is amazing!

I know that the Lord is not done moving! I’m praying that these girls aren’t just having an “emotional” camp vibe, but that their repentance was genuine and that they are sincere about growing closer to the Lord!!

FCA is doing a phenomenal job at ensuring that these girls know they are loved and that they are daughters of the King! Please continue to pray with me over these girls!! I’m so blessed to be a part of this! Tomorrow is the last day!

FCA Captains Camp 🤍

A few years ago, I was at this same camp being poured into by FCA Staff, Character Coaches, and the other athletes around me. What a full circle moment it is because now I have the opportunity to pour into this group of athletes as a Character Coach.

FCA has been a huge part of my life when I was a young athlete in high school. It allowed me to learn how to lead well, as well as making any sport field, course, or gym my mission field!

I’m so thankful to be here for these two days and I am so excited to see the Lord move! Please be praying over these female athletes as some have never felt the weight of their sins and their need for a Savior. And pray for all the staff and character coaches that we will be able to have good Gospel conversations! Thank you for your prayers! Love you guys!!

This is such a beautiful story from one of my sweet friends! My question for you all is this, what ministries around you can you start saving up for? If you don’t have any in mind, feel free to reach out and I can point you in quite a few directions!! If a 10 year old child can save up $145 for a ministry, imagine what you could save up by saving just a few dollars here and there!

If you’ve been looking for a sign to give to missions, here it is!

My 10 year old niece has been saving up her personal money (birthday/christmas/graduation) to be able to give away to those in need. She had an idea of where she wanted to give, but felt like the option she found wasn’t quite right. As I spoke at her church the other night about a ministry that I love, she looked at her mom and told her “that’s where I want to give!”

The next evening, I came home to her handing me a bag with $145 in it. I’m proud of her for being generous with what God has given her, but also for listening to the Holy Spirit’s guidance. I can’t imagine the needs that could be met if we each saved up just to give it away.

What if we all lived with such open hands and hearts? 💕

⭐️ This might be a long post for some of you, but I would really appreciate it if you took a few minutes to read what the Lord has placed on my heart. ⭐️

“A person’s heart plans his way, but the Lord determines his steps.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭9‬

This verse has been so evident in my life over the past few months. Most of you know that this summer I had plans to return to the same internship I served with last year in the Dominican Republic. I was going to serve as internship staff and help lead the other interns throughout the summer. But my plans are nowhere near what the Lord has planned for me.

After a lot of prayer and discussions with my family, my pastor, and some of my missionary friends, I have decided not to return for the internship this summer.

While this was not what I had planned, I felt the Lord revealing areas of my life that needed healing and shaping—deep trauma that needs to be addressed, as well as sin issues that need to be surrendered to Him.

This decision is not me turning away from my call to missions or ministry. Instead, this decision is an act of obedience. It is a season for healing, growth, and deepening my relationship with the Lord so that I can better follow wherever He leads me in the future.

I want to thank all of you for the love and support you have shown me since I first felt called to missions. You have prayed for me, supported me financially, and encouraged me every step of the way. I could never thank the Lord enough for the people He has placed in my life. You all have loved and supported me more than I could have ever imagined.

I do have one request: would you please pray for me as I walk through this next season and follow the steps the Lord has for me?

In closing, I just want to say that God is so good. He has never once failed me, even though I fail Him daily. I am thankful to know that He has already ordered my steps and that His plans will always be better than my own. My prayer is that even through difficult seasons and hard decisions, I would continue to grow closer to Him.

I am so thankful that God has given me a heart for missions, and I pray that one day He will use my testimony to bring glory and honor to His name.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. It truly means so much to me.

Sunday is here. The tomb is empty. Jesus Christ has risen! ✝️🤍

Today, we celebrate the greatest victory in history — the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

So often, when people are asked what Jesus did for us, the answer is, “He died on the cross for our sins.” And that is true. But the story does not end at the cross. Three days later, Jesus rose from the tomb in power and victory!

Because He lives, we have hope.
Because He lives, we have freedom.
Because He lives, we have the opportunity to receive salvation and eternal life through Him.

What a beautiful reminder that death was not the end. Sin was defeated. The grave was conquered. And through Jesus, we are offered grace, mercy, and new life.

Today, we rejoice with thankful hearts for the sacrifice Jesus made and for the victory He won for us all.

“Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled:
‘Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?’
For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:54–57

He is risen! Thank You, Jesus 🤍✝️

Good Friday is a day that carries both sorrow and hope.

Today, we remember the incredible love of Jesus. A love so deep that He willingly gave His life on the cross for us. Without this great sacrifice, we would be lost in sin with no way to the Father. This day was painful and heartbreaking. A day filled with suffering, sacrifice, and silence. But even in the sadness of Friday, we hold on to hope.

We know that the story didn’t end at the cross. What looked like defeat was actually the beginning of victory. What felt like darkness was making way for resurrection light.

Friends, there is light among the darkness. Sunday is coming! 🤍

As I reflect back on the past two weeks, I can’t help but thank the Lord for opportunities to serve and learn! This past week, I was asked to work at a ministry that not a lot of people want to work in because it might not be their calling! I was blessed with the opportunity to serve at Las Palmas, a Christian school here in San Pedro!

While this might seem frightening to some, it was such a blessing to me and honestly it was an answered prayer! Before I left Nashville, I wrote in my prayer journal for the Lord to use me how He would like, and also for Him to give me a boldness to serve where I’m needed. He answered, He used me, and He allowed me to not be afraid of opportunities to serve!!

So today, I thank the Lord for the opportunity to serve in a ministry where some might hesitate to serve in. I would also like to add that this ministry also needs the most help, so I ask that you pray for more teachers for this school! I also want to challenge you to ask the Lord where you might be able to serve! Ask the Lord if He might be calling you to work in a ministry the you have hesitated to work in!

“These were his instructions to them: “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭10‬:‭2‬ ‭

Hey everyone! I am so excited to announce that I am returning to the DR this summer to do the internship again! However, this year I am going as an internship leader!! I am beyond thankful for all the supporters I had last year, both financially and through prayer! I cannot wait for this summer to see how the Lord will use me in this new role!! With that being said, I am about to start sending out some letters to anyone who wants to know more about what I will be doing this summer and how you could support me!! I have no doubt that the Lord will provide for me just like he did last year (and everyday of my life!) Thank you all so much! I love you all and cannot wait to write to you guys ❤️🇩🇴
