– Andi Lachenschmid is the 2026 German H-Boat Champion.

From 1 to 5 September, 43 crews met on the Tegeler See in Berlin for the International German Championship.

Out in front: Andi Lachenschmid (MYC) on GER 1455, together with Alexa Hausotter, Moritz Ellinger and Basti Henning. Staying consistent over five days is anything but a given on this racecourse!

Silver went to Holger Köhne (PYC) with Jan Köhne and Sven Ulrich, bronze to Thomas Kausen (BYC) with Jani and Franzi Funk. Congratulations to both crews.

After the win at the H-Boot Bottle on the Ammersee and a successfully defended title at the Thomas Munk Memorial Regatta, the German Championship rounds off an exceptionally consistent season. We're delighted for Andi and his crew.

Micki Liebl, Team Sailor of Fritz Sails in fifth, crewing for Frank Schönfeldt (TSC) alongside Sven Taube. Two of our team sailors in the top five – that's something we're especially happy about.

– Diego Negri's recap from Medemblik ⛵️

Day 3 at the Star Europeans. 76 boats from more than 20 nations, twelve former World Champions on the start line – and Diego Negri and Sergio Lambertenghi right up there in the leading group after winning race 3. Flat water, a fast fleet, and big shifts that are hard to read – conditions that punish every small mistake.

What we're glad to hear: he's happy with his speed and happy with the sails. Ahead of this championship we worked with him on sail development and built a new jib – and it did its job yesterday.

One more sailing day tomorrow. Good luck out there, guys! 🤞

- BRONZE AT THE YNGLING WORLDS 🥉

Askøy, Bergen (NOR) – 54 boats, 12 nations, eight days on the Hauglandsosen. And on the podium: NOR 405 "Fetter Fart".

Congratulations Joakim Skovly, Kjell Eirik Irgens Henanger and Stian Soltvedt!

This one means a lot to us. We have worked with this crew for a long time, and every session on the water comes back to us as feedback. That input goes straight into the design. A World Championship medal is the proof that it works.

Norway swept the podium, only the second time in the history of the class. Congratulations also to NOR 414 "Tingeling" on gold and NOR 350 "Come-back Kids" on silver.

Abendregatta am Chiemsee. 🌅

Es muss nicht immer das ganz große Event sein. Keine WM, keine EM in Helsinki. Manchmal ist es einfach der Freitagabend im Heimatclub, wenige Gehminuten vom Loft entfernt.

Unser See ist einfach schön. Die Berge im Rücken, das Licht am Abend - der Hammer. Und dann so viele unserer Kunden und Partner mit auf dem Wasser zu sehen, macht einfach Freude!

– Bayerischer Löwe - Sieg am Heimatrevier!

Andi Lachenschmid gewinnt gemeinsam mit Alexa Hausotter und Pia Dörr den Bayerischen Löwen an seinem Heimatclub, dem Münchner Yacht-Club. Herzlichen Glückwunsch! 🏆
Mit leichter Crew und starkem, böigem Wind am Samstag ein sehr starkes Ergebnis!
Umso schöner: Auch die Plätze 3 und 4 sind mit unseren Segeln gesegelt. Glückwunsch an alle Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer - die Bedingungen waren alles andere als einfach.

Der Münchner Yacht-Club ist ein langjähriger Partner von uns, ebenso wie Andi, der mit seiner Crew in verschiedenen Klassen sehr erfolgreich unsere Segel fährt.

Ein großes Dankeschön an Veranstalter und Helfer für eine rundum gelungene Veranstaltung!
