What is IGMC?
The IGMC addresses an end-time project for the body of Christ, the church. It breaks denominational barriers and brings together gospel ministers from various churches and ministries.
From 2000 - 2006, a total of about 10000 gospel ministers from different churches/ministries gathered annually in Nigeria from around the world. Following the 7th session in 2006, the conference was rescheduled to be held from region to region, thus expanding the vision further. Since then, the IGMC has been held several times in several countries.
The IGMC Germany is organized by the WCCRM with different churches/ministries in Germany. The IGMC Europe also holds annually (in October) in Italy, the European headquarters of the WCCRM.
The vision was revealed to the General Superintendent of the Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement, (WCCRM) Pastor A. C. Ohanebo toward the end of 1999. Since then, God has both proved the genuineness of the vision and fast spreading it across the globe. The WCCRM is the evangelistic arm of the Voice of the Last Day Ministry and it is an independent evangelical church. The word “catholic” in the name means universal and not connected to any institution.
The vision comprises a definite 3-fold End-time Project as follows:
1. Raising a great army of believers of various denominations for an imminent great harvest of souls. (Ephesians 6: 13 –18)
2. Bringing about a great harvest of souls into the kingdom, as well as a mighty revival in the entire Church (comp. Acts 4:32; 5:14; 6:5; 13:45).
3. Fulfilling what the Lord has termed "the pre-rapture necessity" (Ephesians 4:11-15; 5:27)
The conference is the vehicle through which the vision is communicated and dissipated Please read the book; “The 3-Fold End Time Project” (in English, German or French) by Pastor A. C Ohanebo to get the full details of the vision.
The book will also be available at the conference for you free of charge.
However, I will summarize the 3-fold vision in 4 words: Unity, Glorious church, God’s army and Revival.
UNITY
“That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.” John 17: 21 – 23.
These were words of prayer poured out from the heart of our Lord Jesus and are the heartbeat of the vision.
This unity does not mean that everyone will come under one roof as one denomination, but that we will preach the same thing, have the same spirit and know that we belong to one family. However, we are from various places or groups/churches (whatever name you call it).
“There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;” Ephesians 4: 4. It means that I love you and you love me too and that, sincerely. Africans, Germans, Italians, Europeans, Asians, Americans, blacks, browns, whites, reds and even greens (if they exist) are one since we have one birth in Christ; we are brothers and sisters.
GLORIOUS CHURCH
“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5: 25 – 27
The above scripture is the truth concerning the New Testament church, the body of Christ. As a matter of fact, Jesus is the owner (not a member) of the church; he purchased it and will present it as glorious to the Father. You are only a member, so you MUST only build according to Jesus’ plan, not yours. You should not build your temple or your kingdom, but as Gospel ministers, we should build a glorious assembly. So, if yours is not according to Jesus’ standard, it will not be presented to the Father. Do not forget that the bible is our ONLY reference book. During the IGMC, we sharpen ourselves and return shining to sharpen others.
GOD’S ARMY
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6: 10 – 11.
In other words, God wants to raise mighty (strong) men and women of valour: The strength is not physical but characterized by the fruits and gifts of the Spirit in them. They are men, who are saved, called, humbly, jealous of God and love righteousness (hate iniquity), They understand the time, know the truth, express impeccable character and are filled with the Holy Ghost. And the beauty of Jesus glows over them.
This army is fully armed with the whole armour of God, as recorded in Ephesians 6. They are true men and women of God or able ministers of the New Testament who can raise an army of Christians for the Lord (consider John 14:12; Matthew 10:25). Jesus is the commander of this army; he recruits these officers who recruit more officers.
REVIVAL
“And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.” Acts 3: 32 – 33, 5: 14
As it was in the early apostles’ days, so shall it be today. “…for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” Isaiah 66:8.
God is not holding back the revival, we are. He wants it and will bring it to pass. He will use His army which is made up of humble men and women, boys and girls, students, workers, market women, illiterate and the stones which the builder rejected. We don’t bring revival, God does when we make ourselves available. It shall be as it was in the time of Elijah; there shall be a sound of abundance of rain.
He does not need your permission to execute His will, He needs your submission. Therefore, let us not hinder the revival by our criticisms, hindrances, and dogmas. It is painful when fellow Christians (so-called) go out of their way to stop the move of God, like this eleventh-hour business (IGMC) and others. Do not kick against the pricks! “…it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.” (Acts 9: 5), you will be persecuting the Lord instead.
Join the army! Preach the Word! Stand up for Jesus!
Finally, the fire of righteousness and God’s power is ignited in our lives, so we will in turn go and raise a glorious church. It also allows us to meet fellow ministers and strengthens the unity of faith among us. During this conference, we will have the opportunity to hear the testimonies of other ministers and interact with one another.
The 16th edition of the IGMC is held in Dortmund from 25th to 27th July 2024.
