God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save it through Him. The eternal Son truly entered our human condition, knowing hunger, sorrow, temptation, rejection, suffering, and death, yet without sin. Jesus does not reveal a distant God who is eager to find fault. He reveals the holy and merciful God who came near to rescue sinners. At the cross we see both the gravity of our sin and the greatness of God's saving love.

Prayer:
Holy and Heavenly God, I am grateful that You draw near to the contrite and to those who long for Your presence. I am mortal and sinful, yet You love me. Despite my guilt, You chose to redeem me and sent Jesus as the perfect offering for my sin. Receive my sincere gratitude and praise through my Savior. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father,
I pray for strength and wisdom in my busy life. Help me to prioritize time to study Your Word, even amidst my hectic schedule. I believe in Jesus, Your Son, and I yearn to know Him better through the Bible. Guide me to understand the truth that will set me free, and to keep Your words as a sign of my love for You. May Your grace build me up and prepare me for the inheritance You have promised. I commit to learning and studying the Bible. In Jesus' name, Amen.

It is ok to be not strong all the time. You do not have to have all the answers. When you come to God with a humble heart and say, "Lord, I need You," He does not reject you—He draws near to you.

If you are tired, hurting, or struggling, God sees you. Your weakness is not a barrier to Him. When you depend on Him, you can find comfort, strength, and the hope of His kingdom.

God wants us to be ready to help other people. We are fortunate that He gave us the Bible. We can now read the Bible in a wide range of languages, dialects, and versions. This is a great blessing, not a threat. But we must remember that the purpose of the Bible is not for us to merely learn it, but for us to live it. God meant for His Word to be full of useful information. It is a gift that makes us ready to do every good thing.

We try to get so many things, but only one of them makes us wise. Paul told the people of Athens that God made us to look for Him and find Him (Acts 17). The wisdom of Proverbs keeps bringing us back to "knowing God" and having a deep, reverent respect for Him as the source of wisdom. We can only understand our priorities, needs, purposes, goals, problems, and issues when we know who the Lord is and spend time with Him every day.

Prayer:
God is Holy, Majestic, Good, and Eternal. I have to say that I know so much less about You than You know about me. But Your faithfulness in my life, Your power shown in history, Your grace shown to so many through the cross of Christ, and Your promise to bring me home to You one day all keep me going. I want to know You so that my life can be lost in Your will. Not for my own glory or gain, but for Your praise, I ask that You show Yourself to me in the things I do today. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
