After the CER and CE meetings in St.Polten, our vice-president Ulyana Tkachuk had a possibility to be interviewed by Monika Slouk on the current life of Ukrainian people and academic Christians - their work, stragle, challenges and hope. The interview is now published in Tiroler Sonntag (in German).

При кожній нагоді вдається свідчити надію, стійкість, християнські цінності, які тримають українців в часі війни - так після засідання Президії СЕР в Санкт Пьолтені віце-президент Уляна Щурко дала інтерв'ю австрійській газеті Tiroler Sonntag про життя, роботу, волонтерство, допомогу та протистояння в умовах повномасштабної війни

The meeting of the CE in St.Polten is coming to the end. We had very fruitful days of work and decision taking, and today we’re blessed by the Auxiliary Bishop of St. Pölten, Anton Leichtfried. During the Liturgy at the cathedral, we prayed in different languages and were invited to read our intentions. So, the just peace in Ukraine was one of them, and the most desired one

Мали нагоду на завершення зустрічі делегатів отримати благословення від єпископа Санкт Польтена, вл. Антона Ляйхфріда. Це було особливо цінним, зважаючи на запрошення виголосити інтенції від України і неодноразові молитви за припинення війни. Літургія в місцевому соборі відбулася урочисто, натхненно, глибоко і різними мовами

Following the tradition of CE meetings, we had a visit to the old church and monastery in Lilienfeld. It is situated in the mountains of Lower Austria and has a long and beautiful history. And its library is worth visiting!

За давньою традицією СЕР, мали сьогодні виїзд в сусіднє місто Лілієніельд, в стародавній монастир отців-бенедиктинців (цистерціанців). Молилися і церкві, перейшлися старими коридорами і відвідали чудову бібліотеку, в якій зберігається 74 тис.книжок. Краса довкола нагадує наші Карпати))

Третій день почався продуктивно і по-християнськи: після Літургії, яку співслужили отці з Румунії (о.Ремус і о.Анджело) та о.Антоніо з Мальти. Приїхали делегати з різних країн (Німеччини, Австрії, Швейцарії, України, Каталонії, Бельгії, Мальти) і на першому ж засіданні було прийняте рішення про проведення наступного року Колоквіуму.
Він відбудеться в місті Ґент (Бельгія) у вересні 2027.
Починається інтенсивна робота з підготовки наступної зустрічі: вибір теми, складання програми та кошторису, і головне - заохочення людей до участі. На Україну знову великі надії!

The third day brought us a lot of positive news - it started with the Liturgy and followed by a fruitful working meeting. The delegates, who came from different countries, have voted for the date and place of the next Colloquium - it will be in Ghent, Belgium in September 2027.
Now we’re having a lot of work on preparations. Got bless our start!

The second day of the CER meeting started with the Liturgy, and rev. Antonio Cassar leaded it.

The work continued with discussing the newly developed web-site of the Colloquium of European Parishes.

World is changing and so we have to , so new ways of communicating and promoting CEP should be used.

Другий день розпочався з Літургії, яку відправив о. Антоніо Кассар, президент СЕР.
Продовжили працювати над робочими питаннями Колоквіуму. І першим серед них стало питання оновлення та наповнення веб-сайту. Нові часи вимагають нових підходів до комунікації

Started a CER meeting. This time we are hosted by a beautiful town of St. Polten in Austria. 4 days of work and many issues - ahead.

Починаємо засідання Президії СЕР. Цього разу нас гостинно приймає St.Polten , чудове австрійське містечко.
Попереду 4 дні роботи та питань до вирішення. З Богом!

Second day of the strategic meeting was dedicated to the things in CEP we want to keep and move further.
With prayers and meditation over the Bible abstract we collected our personal opinions/feelings and the position of our country groups.
What we all share and value the most -
💌 visiting parishes and exchanging parochial experiences
💌 meeting in person with other delagates who became friends
💌 community of the people with same values
💌 supporting and strengthening each other’s faith
We have also discussed and reflected over the position of Swiss, Catalan and Austrian delegations, and considered their concerns.

Today we gathered again for the second part of strategic planning. Malta is hosting our CE meeting, and next three days we’re thinking, discussing and planning our common CEP future.
We have reflected on the event that stroke us during the last two months, choosing images we associate it with. For some of us it was passing away of the relatives, for some - working too much, for others - strangling for peace.

The day continued with discussing the most important moment for a delegate or a country in the history of CEP, and explaining why it meant so much. Ukrainian delegation pointed out that CEP in Barcelona in 2017 was significant as Ukraine officially announced its responsibility for hosting the 30th CEP in Lviv. It was the last one before the huge changes - Covid-19 and the full scale war - that resulted into postponement of CEP in Romania and was on the edge of cancelling.

Last day of the meeting was all about love, unity, prayers and thanking.
Started with the Holy Mass at the cathedral, with blessing of the candles, praying and singing, meeting old friends.

After the church we had another round of meetings - this time - CER. Discussing future activities, coming CEP and further activities.

Finally partied till March

The methodology we used to reflect on our CEP activity, mission and vision included Dixit cards.
We all had to chose three cards that were the closest association with the key questions:
1) why am I here (at CEP)
2) what is my deepest desire for being here?
3) what is my biggest fear?

It was deep and thoughtful though might seem childish.
