“Deception”

Peter was unknowingly used by the devil to try talk Jesus out of his assignment but Jesus discerned the devil behind those words. At times deception can be disguised as compassion from the people around us. The enemy usually thrives off people’s emotions to draw people outside God’s will. That’s why you should never make life changing decisions based off emotions, because emotions cloud your discernment. We are told to be sober minded because the devil takes advantage in those moments when we're at our weakest emotionally & mentally.
