From 1946 to 1987, U.S. military families stationed in Frankfurt were not allowed to bring the remains of their deceased children under the age of two back to the United States. Because of this, Kinderfeld, located in the Frankfurt Hauptfriedhof (Main Cemetery), became the final resting place for nearly 700 military children.

A clean-up and laying Thanksgiving wreaths with Garrison Wiesbaden CSM & his wife, Sergeant Morales Club - Wiesbaden President, AUSA Europe Region President, and the AUSA Europe Volunteer Family of the Year from 66th Military Intelligence Brigade. Also our visitors from AUSA National team, AUSA Director of Family Programs, Mrs Holly Dailey, Director of Membership, CSM(R) Troy Welch, and the VP of NCO & Soldier Programs, the 15th Sergeant Major of the Army, SMA(R) Dan Dailey! Wonderful to see everyone come together to honor the children laided to rest at the Kinderfeld, and also their families.
