Friends, as we move back into virtual TOC this week, here is the schedule: Middle School (MS) Bible Study will begin 5JAN21 Tuesday evening from 7 to 8pm. High School (HS) Bible Study will begin 7JAN21 Thursday evening from 7 to 8pm. This will give families time to finish up their dinner before we start.

Middle School Bible Study will be continuing their study in "Your New Identity in Christ". High School Bible Study will be starting 1 John until the Chapel is able to Purchase "Financial Peace University Military" at the end of January.

Beginning 10JAN21, TOC Sunday will be divided into HS from 2 to 3pm and MS from 3:30 to 4:30. A Google Meeting link will be sent out for each meeting at least an hour prior to the meeting. The same group-specific link will be used each week for continuity.

2nd Annual TOC Sock Wars and BBQ - Sunday Aug 13th, 3pm to 5pm at the rear of the Netz Teen Center. Bring your friends and you old socks (w/o holes). No dessert will be turned away. *Be prepared to get covered in flower* .

Friends, I just got the word from the RSO. Our Tuesday Middle School Bible Study will be at the Netz Chapel from 6 to 7:30 dinner provided. And out Thursday night High School Bible Study will also be held at the Netz Chapel from 6:30 to 8 p.m. until further notice due to 1F restrictions. Our Sunday Program is still currently going to be held at the Teen Center on Netz on Sunday from 3pm to 5pm. We are working under an approved mitigation plan signed by Garrison that allows us to operate in this way as a Chapel Program. For more information please contact me at 015224414875.

Friends,

Many of you have asked about the promotion of students within the Teens of the Chapel (TOC) Program. Here is the plan for this summer due to the situation we are currently in.

• All students that are currently in grades 6th – 12th will be promoted to the next grade on June 6th, 2020.
• Current seniors will be able to continue to participate in TOC until Aug 23rd of this year. If they wish to participate after that, they will need a Chapel background check and apply to join the TOC volunteer staff.
• Some High School summer events, if allowed, may be limited to students that were High School Students during the 2019-2020 school year.
• Due to the current situation we find ourselves in, 5th-grade students going into 6th grade for the school year 2020-2021, will be fully promoted into TOC on Aug 16th. There will be however special TOC events and meetings throughout the summer that they will be encouraged to participate in.

Please know that currently, it is difficult to plan any events or meetings due to current restrictions. With that said, we are working with MWR and others to be able to have events once the situation allows for it. Therefore, instead of a summer calendar this year, we will put out events as soon as we know that we can have them. Also, be looking in our WhatsApp feed for spontaneous events. If you are not a member of our closed TOC Happenings WhatsApp Feed and you have a student in TOC or wishing to participate in TOC please contact the TOC Team Leader, John Malmquist at [email protected].

Lastly, we are in need of men and women that love Jesus and wish to share that love with both Middle and High School students. If God is CALLING you to point students to the feet of Jesus and encourage them to grow in Him, please contact John Malmquist for an application and an interview to potentially join the TOC volunteer Team. All potential team members must pass the required Chapel Background Check and TOC interview.
