कलश पर नारियल क्यों रखते हैं और इसके क्या फायदे होते हैं :
आपने देखा होगा कि लोग कोई भी शुभ काम करते हैं तो उसमें कलश जरुर बैठाते हैं चाहे वह शुभ काम शादी विवाह हो या भगवान की पूजा। गृह प्रवेश हो नए कारोबार की शुरुआत करनी हो कलश बैठाए बिना काम आरंभ नहीं होता है।

कलश धातु के बर्तन का या मिट्टी के बर्तन का हो सकता है। लेकिन हर कलश के ऊपर एक कच्चा नारियल जरुर होता है जो लाल रंग के कपड़े में लिपटा होता है।

लेकिन क्या आपने कभी सोचा है कि कलश के ऊपर नारियल क्यों रखा जाता है और नारियल रखने के फायदे हैं या नुकसान। नुकसान की बात इसलिए कर रहे हैं क्योंकि कलश पर रखा नारियल कई बार एक छोटी सी गलती से आपके लिए धन, स्वास्थ्य की हानि के साथ दुःख का कारण भी हो सकता है।

लेकिन कलश पर नारियल रखने के नियम का ध्यान रखेंगे तो यह आपके लिए हर तरह से शुभ और लाभदायक रहेगा।

शास्त्रों में कलश पर नारियल रखने के विषय में बताया गया है कि "अधोमुखं शत्रु विवर्धनाय, ऊर्धवस्य वस्त्रं बहुरोग वृध्यै। प्राचीमुखं वित विनाशनाय, तस्तमात‍् शुभं संमुख्यं नारीलेलंष्।" यानी कलश पर नरियल रखते समय इस बा का ध्यान रखना चाहिए कि नारियल का मुख नीचे की तरफ नहीं हो।

नारियल का मुख नीचे होने से शत्रुओं की वृद्घि होती है। नारियल खड़ा करके रखते हैं और उसका मुंह ऊपर की ओर होता है तब रोग बढ़ता है, यानी घर में रहने वाले लोग अधिक बीमार होते हैं।

कलश पर नारियल रखते समय अगर नारियल का मुख पूर्व दिशा की ओर होता है तो आर्थिक हानि होती है यानी धन की हानि के योग बनते रहते हैं।

शास्त्रों के अनुसार कलश स्थापना किसी भी शुभ काम को मंगलमय तरीके से पूर्ण होने के लिए किया जाता है। इसलिए कलश में सभी तीर्थों को आमंत्रित किया जाता है।

नारियल लक्ष्मी का स्वरूप माना जाता है। इसलिए कलश के ऊपर नारियल रखते हैं। इसका उद्देश्य यह होता है कि कलश में स्थित देवता और तीर्थ मंगलकारी हों और देवी लक्ष्मी की कृपा से उन्नति बनी रहे।

लेकिन कलश स्थापन का यह उद्देश्य तभी सफल होता है जब कलश पर रखा हुआ नारियल का मुख पूजन करने वाले व्यक्ति की ओर हो।

छिले हुए नारियल को आपने देखा होगा तो पाया होगा कि इसके सिरे पर तीन काले बिंदू होते हैं। माना जाता है कि यह नारियल के आंख और मुख हैं। नारियल का मुख उस दिशा में होता है जिधर से वह पेड़ से लगा होता है। इसलिए अब से कलश बैठाते समय इन बातों का ध्यान रखना लाभप्रद होगा।
