Johannes Henry Burkhardt ist im Alter von 88 Jahren verstorben. Mit ihm verliert die Kirche Jesu Christi der Heiligen der Letzten Tage einen ihrer bedeutendsten Wegbereiter in Ostdeutschland.

Gratitude is the act of showing we are agents who act for ourselves, rather than complacently accepting being acted upon as victims. Gratitude is the statement to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ that we accept their plan over our own. Gratitude is the foundation of all other virtues (Pres. Monson). Gratitude is faith in the simplest form, that what exists is not our creation, but is a gift that can always be taken away.

So how do we know if we have enough gratitude?

Just a thought that the emotions you feel during conference are like book markers or tags for future reference to go back to. Pay attention to when and how powerfully you feel certain emotions and take note to dive into the why at another point in time.

Filmed on location and across the globe, Meet the Mormons takes viewers on a journey into the day-to-day realities of individuals living in the U.S., Costa Rica, Nepal and beyond. From their individual passions to their daily struggles, each story paints a picture as rich and unique as the next while challenging the stereotypes that surround the Mormon faith. The film will appear in theaters across the United States beginning on October 10th, 2014. All net proceeds from the film will go to charity.
